It came out Monday by me (EB), I grabbed it Tuesday and have been rather satisfied since.

Jason Giambi The Yankees signed him to a 7-year deal at age 31. His first season was MVP caliber, in 2002, yes. Last year he hit about .250, and this year now that he's off the juice his entire health is blown out of whack and he's got this tumor thing going on. He was hitting .221. Plus, he's had knee and back problems basically since they signed him. He DHed probably more than he played first last year, and I know he DHed every game in the playoffs. He's a defensive liability, an injury risk, and now a health risk. A $120 million dollar one at that. And we're stuck with him till he's 38 years old.

I caught this show today, and I thought it was awful. All they did was lightly outline stuff, and it was only an hour long. It was full of stuff I already knew, and they just kept repeating themselves over and over: They were from LA. They partied and did drugs and were irresponsible. Band members came and went. Axl was/is a psycho. The end.

Michael Ian Black: Horrible stuff he says on I Love The 80s. He just stares and says something really really stupid that he probably thinks is out-of-this-world hilarious, and he is just a moron. Ant: Tries to use over-gayness to be funny. Doesn't work. Grahm Norton: See above. Dat Phan: Hey! I'm Asian! I had strict parents but now I'm a whacky comic! Awful. Bernie Mac: I only liked him in Bad Santa. I pretty much only dislike him because I can never understand what he's saying.

I haven't listened to or watched Rome all that much, but what bugs me most about his show is all the dead air he lets go on. He'll say something, stop for like 15 seconds, and you'll hear him shuffling through papers in the background. It's really annoying.

Everyone except Sid, Jody, Adam Schien and the Continent on FAN sucks. I can't stand that station. ESPN is not much better, but they do have Michael Kay from 10-1, which is far and away the best sports talk radio show in New York. Most everything on either FAN or ESPN is pure trash with shitty hosts.
