And millions of Fantasy baseball fans cry out in anger.
Al took him in the fourth round of our eight-team AL-only league, and took offence when I mocked him for it.
Yeah, it's terrible. I have to wait now until next week when Milton Bradley gets hurt.
Dama I support, always have. If Anglesault for some reason comes around and wants in, I'll give him a second chance.
Oh, and PongKong should get a second chance as well. He was behaving himself for a long time as a PBP, not causing any trouble.
To me there is two big problems with this Japan business.
1. It is absolutely absurd for a team to have their first game at 3am in their home time zone. If I were Bored or any other local A's fan, I'd be ticked off. It works for me but I'm an early riser on the east coast. Most people don't share my schedule.
2. A larger problem is that while globalization benefits MLB, it rapes the Japanese leagues of their strongest national stars. Would you be inclined to watch MLB if its strongest stars fled to play in Japan after a few years?
Win today for the Athletics. Emil Brown made the difference with a three-run home run. A's fans have to be encouraged by the performance of Rich Harden.
It's isolated thunderstorms. That's not the same as a forecast for straight rain. This obsession with the long term forecast is silly. At least wait until the day before when you can get a detailed forecast.
As it is, WWE has held events in rain before. The Sammartino/Morales show was held in miserable weather.
I don't know. Honestly, there is a great deal of evidence that glacial ice levels have moved north and south through the entire history of our planet. When ice receded from the upper U.S. after creating the Great Lakes, was that too global warming? There are environmental impacts, but we have so little environmental data that it is difficult to prove much with it.
The A's really should not have lost that game. I missed Emil Brown's baserunning, but the A's had Matsuzaka on the ropes several times. Matsuzaka could not locate his breaking pitches, but the A's just could not hit that fastball when challenged.
How many times has that happened? 1988 due to their partying, 1993, perhaps 2005, has to be another one in there. Jannetty in a couple of years has a shot to be the first wrestler fired by Vince McMahon in four different decades!
What if they simply ran a Jannetty/Michaels IC title match instead? Give Jannetty the big title win, it gives the fans a potential good match and a memorable moment to boot.
Probably not a good idea in this era to fly a renegade airship out over a major outdoor event.
Geico last year rented a small plane to fly a banner advertisement over both a Phillies game and the Pennsylvania 500. Obviously it's legal to some extent. The problem is that they would receive no national exposure from it, it would never make the air.
A note on the weather. Maybe someone from southern Florida can back me up on this, but typically scattered thunderstorms come through in the afternoon and clear out most evenings.
