You know, I've started to really like the costume and the look that Routh brings to it. Could have been worse:

Blame Brett Ratner for that. He's a douchebag. And a bad director. Why exactly is he so 'acclaimed'? Does he just have a lot of friends? Look, I hate Ratner too, but how can you blame a director for something written into the script before he was even attached to the project?

That fatass at AICN will sell out to anyone that can make him feel like a celebrity. Although with him I don't think it's about money or material goods or anything. I think his whole deal is that he's such a huge 'mark' that he gets so caught up with what he's getting an 'inside look' at that he just gets starstruck and will drink the kool-aid of whomever is making him feel like he's imortant. I'm sure he actually believed that Abrams' script concepts were AMAZING ideas, because Abrams himself told him that. If anyone saw the comiccom episode of Entourage they hit the nail on the head with their characterization (minus the physical appearance), except for the whole asking for a bribe part. Now, as I said in the other thread, I read that whole story and immediately put on the new trailer and almost fucking cried in relief. Thank God Bryan Singer somehow got creative control on this thing. I mean, despite the little nitpicks about the colors (and really, what superhero movie kept the exact same colors of the costumes?) and the shield, this ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE SUPERMAN. I mean: All that kind of puts the bitching about the size of the S-Shield (which is still red and gold and the same pattern) into perspective. PS: Oh and the irony of a guy who got his start as a hairdresser for BARBRA STREISAND calling the Superman costume "too pink, too f@ggy" is almost too much for me.

Dood, I so posted that in the 'Superman Returns' trailer thread... NO SOLD~! No it's cool, probably deserves its own thread. And yeah, there are a lot of tremendiously bad descisions made over the last decade in regards to that film. I mean, is Tim Burton batshit insane? And as much as I like Lost if I ever see JJ Abrams, I will kick him in the balls.

This will take a long time, but people NEED to read this: The Superman production history Oh....my.......God That is the scariest thing I have ever read. I went through all of that and immediately watched the Superman Returns teaser and I swear I almost started fucking crying with relief. Anyone who complains about things like the size of the S-Shield or the shade of red used on the costume needs to read that to see what sort of Superman movies we were so close to getting over the past 15 years. This article ends in 2004, so the current version of the film isn't discussed. It is amazing how many production teams this film has gone through in all that time, with EACH ONE OF THEM getting the movie SO wrong before Bryan Singer somehow wound up with creative control. She was just in one scene where she got interogated. I think that's right? Don't really remember other than that episode having a pretty fucked up conclusion.

So that whole gang member almost tatooing her cheek had to be a reference to that episode of The Shield that Kristen Bell was on.

So we seem to have established a group of guys who we all agree on being gassed these days. As well as a few guys we disagree on or aren't sure about. So now let's move back and look at former superstars who may or may not have been on 'da juice.' Ok, I think a whole lot of the guys on the roster are on the roids, but I agree that there won't be any suspensions for steroids, at least of big stars. They WILL attempt to sue the pants off anyone who badmouths them in the public. And it's not just lawsuits, they engage in harrassment campaigns against critics too. They go to some disturbing and illegal lengths to keep their critics down. Look into it sometime. No way I want to defend Pride and Prejudice, because I'm sure it blows, but yeah it only played on 221 screens and got a pretty damn high PSA. And wow, that is some HUGE numbers for Harry Potter.

Yeah but this doesn't even read like a ghostwriter, it reads like some stupid fan-fiction that some loser would put out as other people have mentioned. There's three possiblities here in my mind: 1)Shawn wrote this. That would account for the horrible writing, but this doesn't really read like someone who actually went through the events accounting it. Plus the publishers would have to be crazy to realease something that bad. 2)It was ghostwritten. In that case it was one of the worst ghostwriters EVER. The publishers would have to be crazy to realease it. 3)Lame-ass 'fan-fiction.' In whch case it probably WILL end with Shawn and HHH doin' it .

I seriously doubt that this is real. The spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors in this are insane! And the flow of the writing is terrible. I ccould accept the spelling and puctuation errors if this was something that was just transcibed by someone onto a computer, but the writing looks like it hasn't even been edited yet.

TWO new episodes of AD in one night, I feel like the luckiest girl at that ball. I need to download that episode because I'm SURE I missed a ton of spoken jokes while laughing hysterically on the floor at the Tobias/George Michael battle in the miniature city. I havn't laughed that hard in ages. And the end when Annyong apears at the end almost killed me as well. Brilliant subtitle joke there to when he says: "Annyong" - subtitles 'hello' (as usual) "Hello" - subtitles 'Annyong' I'm glad they're continuing the Maybe film exectuive plot as well. And they finally 'outed' Rita which was good cause that whole thing was getting a bit rediculous. People been saying that since halfway throught the first season.

So what's the over/under on the time it takes for to get his powers back?
