There is obviously a time and a place. There is nothing disrespectful about wearing either belly shirts or ... I dunno... throwback jerseys... in certain situations. I wear Tshirts and cargo shorts and sneakers or sandals to work because it is a straight up casual environment. Conversely, don't expect to look "good" with a sideways hat. There is something queer to me about wearing clothes "wrong", like hats to the side or visors upsidedown and backwards. I mean, what the fuck?

I haven't benchpressed in a season. I stopped going to the gym once the pool opened up, I spent all my time exercising laps instead of presses. Much nicer. Although I'm sure my pecs aren't as strong, my lungs got a lot better and I had fun. Now that its past Labor day, I've renewed my gym membership and look forward to heading back sooner or later. I've got to figure out how it can fit into my fencing club work, how quickly I can build the specific muscles up to the endurance level necessary to do both in the same day, so I can rest and have some off days. I kind of agree that this isn't always the best place to discuss the gym. Not only am I ever nervous in trying to have a legit discussion with wp, but ol' License Plate tends to bring the ridiculous more than I can manage. Still. He has a nice fishtank.

Its just the summer rates going away. Labor day weekend is the end of the summer and vacation season. Everyone knows prices go up in the summer, everyone should know they'll likely fall again in autumn. I would be surprised if prices went below $2 where I live, but perhaps it will in the boonies. Who can tell? But I doubt it.
