  1. Haunted was excellent, IMO, WarPath was decent, and I like Maximum violence. Since then SFU has been meticore at best......and sorry I don't give a flying fuck how many people want to jump on the growing, "Chir Barnes cookie monster vocals suck, he is a pussy ~LOL" bandwagon. His work in Cannibal Corpse was great, and his live vocals are amazing....
  2. watching the trailer made me think it is an MTV/ratings friendly version of Gummo.....hahaha.
  3. So basically Brewster was beat up for about 11 of the 12 rounds last night by an Aussie named Mehan. Meehan was basically a Klitschko prototype, but just didn't gas out after 2 rounds, the only problem is he doesn't have half the power Wlad or Vitali has, or Brewster probably would have been knocked unconcious. He had Lamon almost KO'd, but started swinging too wildly, and the round ended with Brewster stunned all to hell. Brewster wins by split decision as the analysists and myself alike are just wondering what the hell the judges were watching. So Meehan wants a rematch obviously, Brewster agrees, and then they give the mic to Don King who says....*oh no* "well, next on Brewster's list, we are going to give Evander Holyfield a shot and see how that goes........." WTF? Bullshit.......
  4. ...Um...can I get a description of what that was about? Sounds too funny to not hear (or read) about. Well for the life of me I can't remember who Riddick Bowe's opponent was, but as usual they had a heated press conference/weigh in....so later that night Bowe's opponent is being interviewd in a parking lot at night, and out of nowhere, Riddick Bowe leaps onto a car, then jumps onto the car next to the camera crew, and just does this super lame drop kick off the top of the car, onto his opponent, and it looked like it damaged Bowe just as much as the guy he was drop kicking.........LEGIT HILARIOUS.
  5. Until the writing team can come up with something, without having to go through five or so Vince McMahon "my way or the highway" edits, then it is really pointless what name they throw in under the PHONY TITLE of "head writer" That being said, in recent memory/history, Smackdown was best with Heyman in charge, or whatever influence he did have was excellent. Vince is going to have to bite the bullet called pride, and give Heyman ACTUAL control of writing/storyline producing if he wants Smackdown to get better.

  7. Take "hitler" out of the equation, and he is basically telling it like it is though. I just hate when people have to resort to that to make a point, but the point is right on.
  8. hey, wait, I though Saddam Hussein was responsible for 9/11.........who is this Osama fella? Seriously though, it will be a good thing that he is caught no matter WHEN it happens, but come fucking on........if this isn't a goddamn coincidence, not to mention predicted about a year a half ago....then I dunno what is........
  9. To me, Taz was pretty godly once he turned uber heel at N2R '95, all the way up through the Barely Legal rematch. His face turn was decent, but his character was never quite the same.
  10. I doubt Rush or O'Reily would wish any harm upon him, but I could EASILY see Ann Coulter ham it up for the camera while behind the scene having the "oh well" attitude.
  11. ASSHOLE........
  12. well like she said....fight fire with fire.........
  13. I want someone to find me an mpeg of Riddick Bowe doing the drop kick off the top of the car......that was the greatest thing EVER.

  15. Nader on Bush's "Ownership Society rhetoric The New Bush Slogan: “The Ownership Society” Will Make Americans Poorer and Add to the Wealth of the Wealthiest The selected President George W. Bush is expected to sound the theme of an “ownership society,” featuring personal savings accounts at the expense of social security and medical accounts at the expense of full health care for all. This charade continues the duplicitous performance of Republicans at their corporate-saturated convention in New York. This new slogan is reminiscent of Bush's claims of being a “compassionate conservative” in 2000, reinforced by the New York Convention’s slogan “People of Compassion.” (To see the record of the compassionless conservative administration—less assistance to children; more poverty; less safety regulations in the workplace, marketplace, and environment; less health care; lower wages; and illegal wars that have taken the lives of thousands, click here). Were George W. Bush authentic about the “ownership society,” he would propose measures that would give control to what the American people already own but have lost control over to the corporations. The President would give control over the public airwaves which the public owns. Presently, and since the 1920's, the radio and TV stations control the public airwaves as tenants, though they are licensed from the Federal Communications Commission. These stations are the tenants; the people are the landlords. These tenants pay no rent (no license fee) to the landlords via the FCC. These tenants receive this public property free and decide who says and who does not say what, 24 hours a day. The landlords neither have their audience networks nor any TV or radio stations based on a return of their property for an allotted time during prime-time and drive-time each day. These time periods would be programmed with experienced staff and studios and open widely the kind of information, participation, and communication worthy of this great public commonwealth that has been so trivialized and debased with commercialism and more media concentration. The President would give control over the public’s federal lands to the American people who own these lands, which amount to one third of the United States. Presently these federal lands are controlled by mining, timber, and other extractive corporations through their compliant servants (often their former business associates) in the Department of Interior and the Department of Agriculture. As a result, these give-aways of the peoples’ natural resources are a form of legalized theft, matched by no other country in the world. Finally, the President would not give away the results of federal research and development—newly discovered drugs and many other innovations—paid for by hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars. Drug companies are presently given free-of-charge important drugs, discovered and tested by government or university scientists under contract or grant. These giant drug companies then turn around and gouge patients mercilessly for such anticancer drugs as Taxol (Brisol-Myers Squibb), without any price restraints from the federal government. An ownership society would give the taxpayers more control through their governmental representatives over what they own and have paid for. Government R&D has represented a major portion of the entire nation’s research and development budget over the past fifty years. George W. Bush has been representing the interests of the giant corporations rather than the interests of the people. Over two-thirds of American people polled believe this to be the truth. The American people should not be deceived by this evening’s deceptive Bush-brand of “ownership society,” which means turning over the people's money in the health and social security sectors to corporate control. Mr. Bush’s corporate control brings with it woefully inadequate disclosure, regulation, or prosecution when these companies proceed to rip-off defenseless Americans, or when stock markets fail them after the corporate manipulators jump ship with their profits. I hope Kerry takes this cue.....
  16. Maybe if they allow Arnold on stage with him to help correct his english Seriously, the mere though of Bush owning ANYONE in a debate is mindboggling. I am not saying Bush can't have the performance of a lifetime and hold his own, but OWNING anyone in improvised answering to spur of the moment questions...
  17. Plus a poll not even 24 hours after the convention? Come on.....
  18. Wait a second, the crowd booed when Bush wished Clinton well through his heart surgery....wtf? Was he speaking in Philly?
  19. ummmm.....WHAT? Where did you read about this? I know Jennifer Jason Leigh has a sex scene in the pool shack, but that isn't deleted. Who did Phobe Cates get down with in the pool shack, and why was it deleted?
  20. Hell, Kerry is HORRIBLE at "acting tough". His advisors are doing him no favors. Clinton had the CHARM to pull it off. Bush has the charm to pull it off (and, the benefit of having others do it for him). If Kerry keeps doing dumb shit like this, this will be a bigger disaster than I already think it might be. I'm getting a Dukakis vibe from the guy at this point. -=Mike ...Who's actually having 527 ads running here in one of the least competitive states in this election... ...BTW, should I assume that Kerry's not campaigning down here indicates that the Dems have pursued their discussed policy earlier of basically writing off the South entirely (save Florida)? If so, he is dumb, and pretty much is wasting John Edwards. I mean I know Edwards isn't going to sweep the south or anything crazy like that, but I am sure he could HELP win some support..... As much as I want Bush to lose, I am starting to lose confidence. I haven't at all been impressed with the Kerry campaign.
  21. Not to mention the WONDERS that deregulation did to California's energy policy........ In other words, what he is saying is, let's bribe these corporations with lower wages, less benefits, less overtime benefits, less accountability etc......wow, GREAAAAT IDEA
  22. yeah I agree, it IS a stupid tactic, even though much of what he says is true, and dead-on. I just think overall the general voting body wants to move on from the vietnam era....and who did what when.
  23. I don't deny that the current definition of marriage is between a man and a woman, however I don't understand or care quite frankly why some people think it is "sacred" or "fundamental" I don't understand the problem with changing it to "between two consenting adults" It isn't imposing anything on anyone either, it isn't forcing anyone to accept, or even support gay marriage, it is pretty much just saying, everyone has the right to get married in this country.
  24. yep that is it, however watching it live, when Tejada was a step away from third base, the umpire called obstruction and then POINTED TO HOME PLATE, which is pretty much the universal sign for YOU ARE AWARDED the base.
  25. So is my understanding correct in saying the matches listed above are just the seven "bonus matches" not on the VHS tape? If so, where is the full listing? Sabu vs. 2 Cold Scorpio was legit greatness, and a LOT of folks haven't seen it since Cyberslam 96 wasn't THAT high profile of an event....... I wonder if Heyman has any influence on the disc, cause if he does I would want him to do a "sunglass guy, hat guy, sign guy" feature....since they basically went to every show ever in the ECW arena.
