FLIP FLOPPER 2004~!LOL..... -
I don't get it though, I mean WWE knew prior that the divas would be saying things like, "cock in your mouth" and "cum sucking gutter slut" ? Is Carmella sucking wrestler's cocks backstage or something, or is this just part of the show to make it seem like everyone hates Carmela?

hopefully Chappelle refuses to even appear at that crapfest in the future. Seriously, it just keeps getting worse every year. Musical-wise and award nominee-wise.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/08/30/...arty/index.html The GOP convention's first big celebrity bash By Susan Pettit CNN Monday, August 30, 2004 Posted: 7:00 PM EDT (2300 GMT) CNN's Bob Franken on the opening of the convention. NEW YORK (CNN) -- First twins Barbara and Jenna Bush, the president's 22-year-old daughters, made a Hollywood-style arrival Sunday at "R: The Party," the Republican convention's first big celebrity bash. The twins rolled up in front of the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan in a black luxury SUV and alighted for a "photo op" down a media-lined red carpet. Stylishly dressed in jeans and high-heels, the twins posed for photos, smiled and waved as they made their way into the party. They did not speak to the media, despite shouts from hundreds of reporters and onlookers to "speak! speak!" Inside, media were herded to a roped-off area for one-on-one interviews with "persons of interest," including World Wrestling Entertainment diva Ivory and WWE superstar Mark Henry, billed as the "World's Strongest Man." Henry won first place in the "World's Strongest Man" competition in the 2002 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic. Ivory said she was appearing in a "nonpartisan" capacity as part of Rock the Vote's effort to increase the number of young voters. "We're trying to get 20 million young people out to vote," she said. Henry agreed, saying, "It's about getting people involved. If you vote, you win." To his wrestling fans, he promised, "I'm coming back soon." More than 1,000 party-goers listened to a variety of live musical entertainment and danced between acts to music selected by a DJ. Huge TV screens over the stage mirrored the action on the dance floor. Actor Stephen Baldwin was among those in the crowded ballroom, but he said he was not affiliated with a political party. "I'm here to try to support faith-based politics," he said. He declined to name his candidate of choice, saying only that "I'm going to vote for the guy who will truly be led by God." Like President Bush, Baldwin is a born-again Christian. Actress Angie Harmon and her husband, NFL player Jason Sehorn, were on the guest list, along with actress Bo Derek who made her way to the VIP lounge where the Bush daughters and their friends were said to be. The daughters -- fraternal twins -- graduated from college in May and have just recently begun to publicly campaign for their father. They have focused some attention on turning out the youth vote. Bush's re-election campaign sent out an e-mail last week with a message from Jenna and Barbara Bush saying that less than half of 18- to 24-year-olds were registered to vote in the last election and that only 32 percent actually did vote. On Monday, the daughters were scheduled to attend -- but not speak -- at a Bush-Cheney '04 event titled "W Stands for Women." Former first lady Barbara Bush, the twins' grandmother, and their aunt, Doro Bush Koch, also were slated to attend the event at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. It is one of several minor campaign appearances the daughters are expected to make during the convention. The first daughters are not scheduled to speak on the floor of the convention hall as the daughters of Democratic nominee John Kerry did during the Democratic National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts, earlier this month. However, they are slated to be in the convention hall at Madison Square Garden when first lady Laura Bush delivers a prime-time speech Tuesday and for their father's acceptance speech Thursday.

Schwarzenegger to Veto Illegal Immigrant Licenses
NoCalMike replied to MrRant's topic in Current Events
Lord willing, the entire state will have fallen into the ocean by then. Yeah sure, because you are surely on the front lines protesting grocery stores that sell produce picked and processed by the sweat of illegal immigrants. I'm all about growing your own. GO ORGANIC, BITCHES. well ok, that is a good idea actually for everyone, if it was possible. However, most people in america if telling the truth would side with lower prices rather then deportation of illegals. They may say different with a camera stuck in their face, but behind closed doors it is all about the lower prices. Plus like I have said before if our government really wanted to do something about this they could, however I am sure they are taking some "don't make us pay american workers minimum wage wages" cash in order to allow them to use illegal immigrants and keep their wages off the records. I do agree that our illegal immigrant situation is starting to get a bit out of control, but to just side with 100% deportation is like sticking a bandaid over a gunshot wound and is just simply ignoring the contributions that immigrants both legal and illegal make to american society. -
*cackles evilly* The plan is working.... well, except for the fact that California isn't a swing state. Plus, I am a new voter, so it isn't taking AWAY from Kerry when I was never a voter of a democrat before. And contrary to what republicans pray and hope for, Arnold will NOT be delivering CA to Bush..

We should have a "Recommend Beer for those that don't like Beer" My first answer would be Dox Equis(brown bottle) with a wedge of lime. I have watched so many people that despise beer, take a liking to this concoction, including chicks that wouldn't even touch the likes of Corona.

Corona is sooooo highschool.......

From about 4th grade to Jr high. During summer vacation I would wake up to the lineup of... Silver Spoons Out of this World Mr. Belvedere Head of the Class Anyone remember when Small Wonder would come on?

I wonder if Kirk Gibson's homerun off Eck will make it..... Also, where the hell is Darrell Green's Punt Return TD at? The dude tore cartilidge in his ribs halfway through the run and still jukes and jives his way for the TD to send the Skins to the superbowl.

Just the typical p.c. ESPN pick, not that anyone would have noticed if it hadn't been included on the list. It won't be the the last 9/11 related moment on the list. I'm interested to see if they'll have McGwire breaking the homerun record higher on the list than Bonds breaking it, which it should be since the McGwire/Sosa chase was ten times more memorable than the Bonds' chase and was 37 years in the making. My guess is they'll go the p.c. rout and have Bonds ranked higher which will go nice with their current policy to coddle Bonds. I'm also dreading the placement of the Derek Jeter/Jeremy Giambi play. I know those assholes are going to put it at least in the Top 20. well yeah, considering Giambi was clearly safe.

Speaking of Stephen Baldwin, he was on Fox News today and I happened to be flipping by so I stopped. This guy is out there. He basically said he was a born again christian and he would support the candidate he felt had "more faith" I am dead serious, No war on Iraq, no economy, no education etc.......all the anchor could get out of him was, "Well I believe Bush has more faith"
-
uh-huh, so someone with an opinion as whacko-right as Ann Coulter, is your hero? Look supporting republicans is one thing, but as soon as the "treason card" is used, that is where a person pretty much loses credibility.

The only part of the Ramone article that distrubed me is the fact that he said he listens to Rush Limbaugh to get educated. Now that is scary.

The problem here is that Orton's cheers only came in small pockets of SOME crowds. Basically Vince is justifying the rushed/forced turn by using the Austin/Rock diagram, however if you remember correctly, Austin/Rock both had at least 75% of the crowd on their side as HEELS(cool heels) before they were turned. So basically there was no danger in them turning face because they already had the established base, not to mention their characters didn't even really change on bit, they remained doing the same catchphrases and shenanigans, only to heels instead of faces. With Orton there isn't an established base ready to cheer him, as evidence from last week when he didn't really receive much of a pop at all, considering what had just happen to him the week prior. Methinks that this turn had a lot more to do with Triple H needing fresh meat, moreso then, "oh look everyone loves Orton, lets turn him face" because quite frankly, that was absolute bullshit.

I like using mIRC for music files. They tend to be superfast transfers especially when coming from a bot.

Ok I have a question. If someone just started up a religion(perfectly legal) and decided to make gay marriage legal, then would that fall under freedom of religion and then marriage would have to be recognized?
-
Pretty Intense, however how could the guarantee that the kidnapper wouldn't have inadvertantly taken the kid with him on the fall to the ground? Just saying.........

I have a question, where all these ads running, moveon.org and/or swift boat vets.... I really haven't seen much of EITHER, except when a politcial talk show host plays them on their show to rant on them. Does anyone else think that these political talk shows kind of give all these ads more exposure then the running of them in the first place? Also I still don't get the connection between a television ad and someone's vote. Unless more people are just THAT stupid.
