  1. Good luck, Dama.
  2. ...and to answer the question, it'd be the MNW DVD, simply because the Flair promo from Greensboro (09.14.98) is on there. Both DVD's are worth the purchase, though. Actually, reviews have stated that the DVD does a great job of balancing credit for the success between WCW and WWE.
  3. Not yet...they'll keep going with Angle's DVD and Wrestlemania XX due out in March and April, respectively. Don't know what's in the planning stages for post-Mania, though.
  4. More detailed stuff on Austin's DVD:
  5. That's honestly the best way to put it.
  6. Two sites to add: Demon-Wrestling.com (Batista's official website). Matt Hardy's official website (though it is maintained by the WWE, he'll post commentaries there).
  7. I'm not going to say "good riddance", simply because he lived his dream (performing with Hogan, working with the WWF/E) and made short work of it. His gimmick ran its course, though I wish he had worked as a heel manager for the remainder of his stay. Good luck in the future, Zach.
  8. EDIT: Nevermind.
  9. So this delays Angle's "illogical" heel turn...
  10. But at least it's contained to one thread - sometimes I go through periods of 2-3 days when I am unable to visit TSM. By the time I'll return to catch up, any topic from that period is already pushed down to the second page of threads.
  11. Is there a way where we could we put this thread up as an "IMPORTANT" thread to see, before entering the forums? (sort of like how we have that thread about ID changes at the top of the page) Maybe it doesn't hold the same bearing and importance as the other thread does, but new TSM'ers usually start off in the WWE folder and branch out from there.
  12. New pinned threads. I didn't notice them until a few minutes ago.
  13. Move it along, now.
  14. From what I've read, here are the vague list of extras... .... PLEASE let this be THAT segment.
  15. I don't get it. He's a well-known rapper - even then, the entire point of this negotiation may be to lure Eminem into appearing at the show after a battle rap between Cena and Proof. You've already been in the dark on Fabolous, a mainstream rapper - who's left - Tupac and B.I.G.?
  16. Eminem would be SOOOOOO much better than this no-name. Maybe Proof is the bargaining chip to get Eminem to appear there? Oh, come on. I'm giving them Eminem. Do we NEED all his no name friends too? Well, I guess they couldn't attract a guy who's devoid of pop culture knowledge, as well as the nation of Canada. Shame on D-12 and Eminem for not venturing into the rock or metal genre. AS, I don't think there's an artist that can appeal to EVERY wrestling fan who would be persuaded to watch Wrestlemania XX.
  17. Eminem would be SOOOOOO much better than this no-name. Maybe Proof is the bargaining chip to get Eminem to appear there?
  18. Here's more information for those who don't follow hip-hop too closely... He's also in the movie 8-Mile, though I'm blanking on which of Eminem's rivals he played in the picture.
  19. So the WWE can't do anything right in this regard? Let's focus on making new stars (Cena, Orton, Batista) and we get a "they haven't been here long enough" argument. Let's focus on making stars out of veterans/older workers (Angle, Eddy, Benoit, Rey) and we get the "DVD isn't 3 discs" argument. Let's focus on the old guard helping push the new guys up (Flair, UT, HBK) and we get the "the new stars deserve the DVD" argument. Thanks for playing, though. We'll finish up next month when everyone starts bitching again about Angle not getting his just due on his DVD retrospective.
  20. So we shouldn't focus on new stars, and instead put our resources into producing a _________ DVD? (fill in the blank) This has happened before - with Angle and Jericho in winter 2000/2001 and with Brock this past year.
  21. And this differentiates itself from the other profile DVD's in what fashion? Save for Flair, HBK and Hogan, there's not a whole lot of nostalgic value with the current crop of WWE workers. The Home Video department makes up for a good portion of the WWE's profits - either you could purchase this DVD, or pass on it and wait for the next month's releases.
  22. Forget the bad matches, what on that is worth watching? Ask anyone who's a fan of Cena - one who follows Cena on a weekly basis.
  23. Profile DVDs don't sell on the basis of having a myriad of ****+ matches - it sells on the popularity and fan following of the worker himself.
  24. The Cardinals are open as well - I remembering making the pick for someone else last year.
  25. I want to relinquish my 49ers rights from 2003 and resume the status of being the TSM Mock Draft Commissioner. If anyone has the extra time to help, I have no problems with sharing the load. (Honestly, if you look how deep the coverage of the 2003 Mock Draft was, such as the "War Room Discussions" that were posted, we have a huge task in front of us to top it.) EDIT: For shits and giggles...
