So the road agents, trainers, wrestlers, techs, cameramen, make-up artists and "gorilla position" crew won't notice this before they run the angle? Drinking alcohol while hunting is a fairly common tradition, EK. They are the cornerstones of a Southern redneck's life - they go hand in hand.
-
I doubt they'll milk this Playboy angle out until Wrestlemania. Of course he'll do one - but like previous years, it'll be for the Women's title.

Considering that the writers now have complete control over a worker's promo... Considering that Austin doesn't write or provide input to the storylines that involve him... And considering that, for the millionth time, that he's NOT a writer...
-
It's nearly 100% certain he faces Angle...in a WWE title match. The idea of Goldberg/Lesnar does not need a title to sell it as a marquee match-up (think Rock/Austin from XIX, or Rock/Hogan from X-8). People would pay for the match by the names alone.

Thank god they brought back Holly.

Countless VETERANS do the same thing in the ring. Jericho, to name one.

You know...considering the small amount of actual matches, could the Battle Royale have used the Rumble gimmick?
-
Except Jordan will probably be made to look like he could have won. Why you figure this? It's not like he's a hoss or anything... Or even a guy who's been on Smackdown recently...

The objective was to give Eddy the title shot. The only other way he would "deserve" the match with Lesnar, is if they ran a contender's tournament throughout the way to No Way Out. They've barely planted the seeds for a proper turn by Nidia, not to mention the turn would be overshadowed by everything else to follow their match? Please tell me you aren't serious. Jordan WAS massacred. No need to doubt it.
-
...why would Eddy deserve to be in the match?

Who watches a show JUST for one wrestler?

No rating on the overrun?

Dear lord... ...third place AGAIN?

Benoit, Angle, Cena, Goldberg.

<---Also anxiously awaiting the Rumble.

When I chipped in for Vengeance, with a 256 MB RAM and 2.0 GHZ comp, I managed to run IE, the webcast and a few other applications at the same time with no slowdown.

Ordering it through webcast, since my college won't put up with PPV purchases. From past experiences on this board, no one should willingly go through the trouble of PM'ing a webcast link to each and every poster requesting it through private messages. There's so much that can go wrong with someone screwing up the ID and Password to the webcast.

Discuss & Review: Mick Foley's Greatest Hits/Misse
Fökai replied to Elbarto997's topic in The WWE Folder
From my guess, HHH/Foley will only be released after it has been blurred AND re-commentated on. Foley coming back a month later after a "retirement match" ruined the emotion of the HITC in hindsight. Of course, they could run the angle of "this was SUPPOSED to be Foley's last match", but eh... -
Highspots.com is reporting that a Cena DVD is due to be released on March 2nd, along with the Angle DVD.

For interest's sake, the workers from last year that are not included in this year's Rumble: RAW: Shawn Michaels, Christopher Nowinski, Tommy Dreamer, Jeff Hardy, Jamal, Maven, Goldust and Batista. SMACKDOWN: Rey Mysterio, Edge, Chavo Guerrero, Bill DeMott, B2, Eddie Guerrero, Brock Lesnar and Undertaker. Projected to debut/return this year: RAW: Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Spike Dudley, Rene Dupree, The Hurricane, Rico, Scott Steiner and Goldberg. SMACKDOWN: Rhyno, Nunzio, Shannon Moore, Bradshaw, Billy Gunn, Matt Morgan, Kurt Angle and Big Show. ---- I really hope that the match can stack up to last year's Rumble in terms of quality.
-
Hmm...why would they just book an injury angle to take Spike out of the battle royale, though? Weird.
-
Shawn Michaels vs. HHH -- Last Man Standing for the World Title Winner: Triple H. Dudleyz vs. Evolution -- Raw Tag Titles Winners: Evolution. Chavo vs. Eddie Winner: Eddie. Rey vs. Noble - CW Title Winner: Noble, because I see a swerve on Rey by Nidia. Lesnar vs. Holly - WWE Title Winner: Holly by DQ. Royal Rumble Match Final Eight: Benoit, Cena, Angle, Rhyno, Kane, Goldberg, Orton, Jericho Final Four: Benoit, Cena, Angle, Goldberg Final Two: Benoit, Goldberg Winner: Benoit.

Spike is supposedly out of the Rumble, as well.

The tag scene in the 80's was light years above anything the singles division could muster. Now, in the current landscape of WWE, a lot of average or bland workers fill the tag division (Cade, Jindrak, Dupree, Damaja, Test, Storm, Basham, Steiner, Rosey, Rikishi, Palumbo, Stamboli). To establish a decent division on both brands, you'd have to take the workhorses of the tag scene (TWGTT, Dudleys, Hurricane, Conway, Morley) and add several top-tier wrestlers to the scene, which is literally impossible right now.
