Judging by this statement, it seems that you have completely glossed over actual logic and instead are grasping for straws to say that a Angle/Guerrero feud is illogical. I still can't see how you missed the seeds being planted into Angle's heel turn, from Eddie ignoring Angle's advice completely with his situation with Chavo, from Angle's frustration from losing to Eddie, and from the possibilty that the "Cheat To Win" mantra will capture Eddie the WWE title.
-
From my view, with all factors included...my favorite Super Bowl ever. ...and I was cheering for the Panthers.
-
That's a little convoluted. Why not just go super-simple? Kurt did all he could to keep the Guerreros together But WHY? The Guerreros breaking up or saying together would have no effect on Kurt whatsoever. Anglesault...seriously...why do you keep trying to use logic with wwe storylines? Youll only frustrate yourself. Vince and friends have no use for logic, cohesiveness, maintaing any lineage of thought. Have we NOT stated reasons for Kurt's possible heel turn? Not to mention he hasn't even turned YET, so even if you don't agree with the reasoning, there still could be more behind this (such as Eddy cheating to win the WWE title)?

I'm surprised at how well I did - lead the NFC in points forced and points difference. Good job with this league, KKK.

Paperport (right-click link, save as) EDIT: No problem.

Actually, it's the other way around. HHH, being the champ, would face HBK/Benoit at the beginning of the night, then face the other in the main event. If Michaels or Benoit needs a side match to equal Bret's night from Wrestlemania X, set that up soon (someone being jealous of Benoit?)
-
From JHAWK's Smackdown recap... So this doesn't explain why Angle wouldn't at least TRY to help the Guerreros patch things up, especially since they're all close friends (even in kayfabe)?
-
They're also related. TO KURT???? ? He's trying to say that Angle sticking his nose in the Guerreros' business because "he likes the 'Los Guerreros' tag team" is a weak reason to do so, when in fact he did these things simply because the Guerreros are related.

They're also related.

So you completely ignored the promo Angle gave on 01.01.04? It provides the complete explanation for why Angle would care so much about patching up Eddy and Chavo's disintegrating relationship.

A heel turn is over a combination of factors that could cause a babyface to turn into a petty, jealous asshole. Let's see... -- Angle returned from neck surgery again, preaches family values due to the "Smackdown in Baghdad" show a week previous. -- Eddie rejecting Angle's advice in his blood feud with Chavo (see above). -- two frustrating Royal Rumble losses in one week, after Angle had promised victory to the troops. -- being passed up for two shots at the WWE title, the same belt he had lost in a quasi-screwjob. -- being passed up for a Mania main event, in favor of a guy (Eddie) who will probably win the title off Lesnar via cheating (Goldberg's interference, or something similar). This just SCREAMS "petty, jealous asshole". All Angle has to do is look at his "Three I's" past, and there's more than enough evidence to believe this heel turn would make sense. Hart/Austin in 1997, anyone?

The amount of potential viewers that can still be drawn back to the WWE is what I'm really excited about.

I actually don't know what three he did commentary for (and thus was not positive it was him when I originally asked the question), but watching Vader vs Cactus this evening, it seemed the match was oddly silent commentary wise, with Tony doing it himself. Cactus vs Sting was done by Coach and Mick as a commentary gimmick. The only other WCW match (the Street Fight with the Nasty Boys), has Hennan and Tony and I recall no Ventura in 1994, so I don't know what the 3rd match he's edited off is. JHawk? Foley's WWF debut (w/Les Thornton vs. The British Bulldogs). It's all Vince on commentary outside of one comment from Bruno Sammartino. Although come to think of it, Ventura might have been filming Predator at the time, so he may not have done that match. You were right the first time - he did commentary on that match.

Wrestlemania at Madison Square Garden. Three men with a claim to the championship. Veteran Canadian fighting to win the title. ... ... Eh...maybe too obvious, I guess.
-
Eh, you took the joke too far. Still funny, though.

Kevin Nash stabbed during movie filming
Fökai replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in General Wrestling
We've already seen detailed trailers with the Punisher/Nash brawl, so I'd guess the directors re-did some of the fighting scenes involving Jane for better results. -
It's once in a lifetime, dude. Debt is only temporary, right?

It's pretty pathetic to make your entire case of Cena being undeserving of a DVD because he hasn't achieved **** matches to the tune of Benoit's level. Fact is, Cena is the hottest commodity in the WWE today. If you've watched a Confidential episode in the last four months, you would find that he's a promotional machine we haven't seen the likes of since Austin in 1998/1999 and Rocky in 2000. He DESERVES a DVD, simply because he is a rising star who could help bring the WWE back to 2000-esque levels of financial success.
-
Don't know what that first paragraph entailed, but Trish proposed the idea of house shows continuing angles from RAW and Smackdown television shows.
-
NOOOO!!! Put our money behind two future question marks in Angle and Benoit! That's the ticket! ... Seriously, the WWE is doing the RIGHT thing by putting their stock into Cena's rising popularity. With the pops he's garnering without any previous hype (ex: Austin's 3:16 marketing machine), he's probably the saving grace of the company for the time being.

HHH/Michaels, Royal Rumble 2004 - 22:45. HHH/Jericho, Fully Loaded 2000 - 23:13. Yep.
-
He was NEVER a true heel during that entire run (except for the first few weeks) - Vince tried to play the angle that he was a loveable heel that stood behind HHH's diabolical schemes.

When a female wrestler's workrate mattered to the U.S. crowds... ... ... So yeah....never.
