Aero Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 Pirates of the Caribbean The Rundown... which I bought as a bootlegged DVD at a flea market. The quality actually isn't bad at all.
Guest El Satanico Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 The Crazies Now once I buy the upcoming Dawn of The Dead SE, I'll have a complete Romero "zombie collection". Yes, I know The Crazies isn't technically a zombie film, but work with me here people.

razazteca Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 More cheap kung fu movies with bad transfers and even worst audio. All of which comes from the Insta Action company but what do you expect in a two movies for $9.95 deal? High Voltage & Circus Kids both of which feature Donnie Yen or Yuen Biao. The dub on Circus Kids is very bad with what sounds like some random actors reading from instruction manuals. Bey Logan fights Donnie Yen in the movie. Magnificent Kick & Butcher Wing which is suppose to be a Wong Fei Hung double featue. The only good part of Butcher Wing is that it features a HOSS and a retarded on at that. Butcher Wing has the best transfer out of the movies I bought. Challenge of the Master Killer & Invincible Super Guy The Gordon Lui movie is NOT a 36 Chamber time period movie but a modern day police movie. Invincible Super Guy had the worst audio out of all of the movies. I feel ripped off.

Guest BrokenWings Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Went on Boxing Day and picked up (what I thought was, anyways) a good deal on DVDs, that being 4 DVDs (Which come in sets of two) for $40. So I got.. Requiem For A Dream Faith In Chaos (Never heard of it, but it was in the package with RFAD, it's from the same director, and sounds decent. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet.) Old School Road Trip

Grenouille Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 I just got a few new discs in from CD Japan and Amazon. From CD Japan Tiger Mask Vol. 1 J Cup 1994 Vol. 1 & 2 NJPW Complete Collection Vol. 2 Glory Superbit Spider-Man Superbit From Amazon American Wedding & Bad Boys II DVD Aficionado is good for keeping track of things, but does anyone know of a site that contains lots of foreign discs too? I can't put some of the Japanese Superbit discs in w/aficionado.
King Kamala Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 House Party 2 House Party 3 Both DVDs were $5.50 at Wal-Mart and if there are any sadistic fucks out there Suburban Commando is also in the $5.50 DVD section at Wal-Mart.
Bruiser Chong Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Road Trip isn't as putrid as some people build it up to be. Not a new classic teen movie or anything (at least not by my count), but certainly not that terrible. And I'd be interested in Suburban Commando for that price, but I haven't seen it since I heard about it being in the bin back in September. As for recent purchases, over the past week, I've copped and recieved: - Stir Crazy - Lon Chaney Collection - Looney Tunes Golden Collection - Kevin James: Sweat the Small Stuff - Lewis Black Unleashed - Superman the Movie - Narc - Rushmore Criterion Collection Also got some cheapie DVDs (silent Hunchback of Notre Dame) from a friend, and my bro got a few new titles, as well, so there's an abundance of stuff around here to watch. Rushmore was the only disc of the bunch that I bought myself, but that was only $18, thanks to a price drop/error at Wal-Mart.com that basically cut the price in half. And Grenouille, you may wanna try DVDProfiler.com, as I hear it's got a bigger database (and more info for each disc) than some of the alternatives.
ArkhamGlobe Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 Bought Buster Keaton's The General a couple of days ago.
