Youth N Asia Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 The Rundown...what the hell, if I don't like it I'll trade it off onto someone else.
Downhome Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 I picked up two DVDs today.  1) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait Revisited  $5.99/Best Buy  I've been wanting this for a while, so I figured I might as well throw down a few bucks and go ahead and pick it up.  2) Brock Lesnar: Here Comes The Pain  $8.99/Rainbow Records (Local CD store.)  I wasn't ever going to pick it up, but once Lesnar just up and quit I figured that I might as well pick it up since I saw it for so cheap today, seeing how if he never wrestles again this DVD is the majority of the high points in his career.
Fökai Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 I hit the Virgin Megastore in Vancouver this past weekand picked up these titles for $40 CAN...  Bandits Behind Enemy Lines Donnie Darko Grosse Point Blank  Last week, I purchased SNL: The Best of Will Ferrell and Lost In Translation and tonight, after trading in one of my buddy's horrible DVD's (Hotel New Hampshire was the title, I think), picked up The Rundown for 12.99 at Blockbuster.

Downhome Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I just bought the new TCM (2003) 2-disc for $19.99 at Wal-Mart. Â I just went to my local K-Mart to get pick up the ad (it's listed as $19.99), and while I was there I figured I would try to just get it there for the listed price. The gal in electronics said she didn't know why the price was listed in the paper, but she couldn't give it to me at that price unless it came up as that price when she scanned it. Â It didn't, it came up as $29.99. Â I went about a half mile up the road to Wal-Mart, took the 2-disc off the shelf (priced as $29.99 there also), flashed the K-Mart ad, and they let me have it for $19.99, no questions asked.
Guest Choken One Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 any other movies with the same sale?
Bruiser Chong Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Do you have the original TCM on DVD? For 10 bucks more, you could've had both of them, which is the route I would've taken (if I had even the slightest interested in even owning them, that is).
Downhome Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Do you have the original TCM on DVD? For 10 bucks more, you could've had both of them, which is the route I would've taken (if I had even the slightest interested in even owning them, that is). Yes, I already have the original. Â I think it's funny that I could take the one I have, I haven't opened it yet, back to the same Wal-Mart, and get a $30 gift card for it, heh.
Downhome Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 any other movies with the same sale? Nothing like this, at least nothing I noticed. Â I had to go for the TCM deal though.
