The buzzing has been happening to me too. Never did it before HCTP.

I just started a new season as Brock Lesnar and I'm Feuding with Brock Lesnar....The two times i faced him it listed him as Undertaker and then Matt Hardy.

 

Has this happened to anyone else?

That's never happened to me, but when I was playing the other day, there was an odd angle where I had to run out and save Eddie Guerrero from Old School Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero. From there, Taker and evil Eddie challenged good Eddie and me to a tag match at the PPV with the World (mine) and I-C (Eddie's) titles on the line...but when we got to the PPV, evil Eddie was replaced with RVD...who was actually came out with the I-C Belt and was announced (on the graphic) as I-C Champ...as was good Eddie. We won when I made Taker tap to a Dragon Sleeper, but I wonder what would've happened if I ended up beating RVD, since it was a double title match and he was (apparently) I-C Champion as well.

About the system fucking up it happens with all PS2's and it really sucks. Before the summer I got Splinter Cell, and my PS2 had been on the fritz for a while so I just slapped it around for a while and gave up. I really didn't want to call Sony, so I found some simple instructions online, opened the PS2 up, cleaned the lens, and it all worked out fine, until about last week. I just did it again today and it feels good to play Madden and Smackdown again knowing it'll work every time I turn the system on. If a mechanial retard like myself can fix it anyone can.

Personally, mine was HHH, HBK, Christian & Victoria, only four members. So maybe you're in a different situation there Flik.

Um.. Never. But I was talking in game... *remembers last faction, slightly* ok. Nevermind.

 

I had five last time through. HBK, Eddy J (me), Shawn O'Haire, Sable, and Brocky.

 

Eddy and Brocky were the Tag Team Champions. Rhyno was United States Champion. HBK was Cruiserweight Champion. Sean O'Haire was just there.

 

The original founding members of Dangerous... Whatever that one's called, where Eddy J, Rhyno, and Sean O'Haire. I just became Tag Team Champ, Rhyno just became United States Champ, and Sean O'Haire had more over than me.

 

If you are wondering why Brocky wasn't appart of the alliance first, it was because he was WWE Champ and for some reason, I couldn't include him at the start.

 

Then he lost to Taker and I knew why. As Taker headed up "The Corperation"

I've seen worse.

 

Plus, he's not all that bad. He was pretty decent on the mic the other week on RAW. Besides, he has at LEAST 3 more moves than Nathan Jones.

You know things are going right when you're having a three way feud with Haas and Benjamin over the WWE title on Smackdown.

 

Oh, and the best line in the game, ever, has to be during one of the pre-PPV video packages: "The survivor will be the winner." Well... duh!

ok I may be kinda late but had anyone notice the small defects of the stroyline

 

Like for example, I was i an eliimation chamber as Test. Though I lost to Goldberg, there was still just Jericho. And even though he won (via reversing the Jackhammer to the Walls of Jericho kinda cool anyway) the cut scene showed Stone cold being the winer ( though he was the first to be elimiated)

Simple. None of Cena's moves are high damage really, and his strength isn't high compared to those he's facing in the upper mid too. I had that problem as Cena. Best advise is to get to know your moves well, so you know which moves do more damage...and taunt when you have the chance.

 

Or you could just knock out the ref and use a chair. Either way.

 

 

Ah, funny thing...I just went through the whole 'save JR in Oklahoma' story, and started the feud with Vince. And I ended up in a cage match against him at Backlash as main event. The funny thing is...

TMD, you do know that even though you have season stats, that you can use the EXP you gain from the matches and stuff to build up those reg season stats? Right?

 

So if your Strength is a problem, increase it. Simple as that.

Just started my fourth season [first was with Lesnar, two and three were with Goldberg]. This time around I chose Triple H.

 

I decided to start on Smackdown, because during my last Goldberg season, Lesnar had jumped ship to Raw [to save me from the Corporation] so I figured I'd make it a "legit trade" and move H over to SD. I'm having to start at the BOTTOM too, because the computer has sucked all the SP points out of HHH [down to 40] over the last three seasons.

 

I've already won the SD tag titles from O'Haire and Piper [Piper has won so many titles in CPU vs CPU matches during my seasons!] with Matt Hardy. Lost them to Los Guerrero's when I turned on Matt during a cage match. US title, here I come - coincidentally it's held by.. yep, Roddy Piper. Geez...

Has anyone played an Iron Man match in exhibition mode?

 

The match lasts for an epic 10 minutes and I can't find a way to change it

 

All my other matches have 30minute limits so am I missing something?

It should be on the options page before the match. You can change the time limit to 20 or 30.

Actually, I don't think you can change the time limit for an iron man match. It's stuck on 10 mins. and that really sucks.

So far my biggest issue with the game is that after WMXIX corrected table physics to avoid wonky animations (you couldn't get off the table just by moving, you had to press a button.. thus you could do any move on the table and stay on top of it, driving your opponent through each time), but HCTP still suffers the problems that date back to "Know Your Role".

 

That, and the fact hair and other body parts sometimes disappear under the mat during pinfalls (very minor!) are my only real beefs right now (though if what is being said about the IronMan match is true, that sucks too). I'm still loving this game, still playing through Season. I decided to start as a champion this time, and immediatley got put into an angle. Fun!

Yeah Man.When I 1st got the game I kept wrestling the same 3 People.

 

When I was Brock I was feuding with Goldberg too much and I wrestled him at at-least 5 PPV's and 3 Shows

and I wrestled Rock and Austin like 10 Times.

 

no onelse,No joke.The only time I touched another Wrestler other than Rock,Austin and Goldberg was in a tag-match.

 

I was all over Forums complaining about this.It dont happen anymore though.You gotta put all "big name" Wrestlers

on the show you on and You wont feud with the same person all the damn time.

 

Brock/Goldberg Feud never ended and Same with my Rey/Eddie Guerrero Feud.

 

I was pissed off at this so I went to someone and Ask them if they feud with the same damn person too long

and Thats when he said it happened to him but He then put all big name Wrestlers on the show he on.

Just started a new season. Wow, HHH not only doesn't job in the posedown, but then he bores me to death with a never ending promo. Then, when I face him in the match...

 

I eke out a win, but he gets his heat back afterwards by beating the crap out of me with a chair.

 

Well, except for the jobbing part, it's just like the real thing!
