I first started watching wrestling in 86' and The Hart Foundation and the British Bulldogs were having a bunch of matches that helped hook me as a kid. Of course it was just wasn't the wrestling then. I was 10 and Jimmy Hart and the evil ref Danny Davis was pretty damn entertaining. Anyway, since then there have been a bunch of series. Benoit/Angle, Benoit/Jericho (which is one of my favorites and one of the most underrated IMO) Benoit/Booker, EC/Hardys/Dudleys, Raven/Dreamer, Freebirds/Express, etc.,. Tiger Mask is up there with Flair/Steamboat and Flair/Funk, most recent ones are Angle/Benoit,RVD/Lynn,RVD/Eddy, Jericho/Benoit, Rock/Jericho,Benoit/Angle,Benoit&Angle/Rey&Edge/Guerreros, Benoit/Booker, Hardys/Duds/E&C, Austin/Angle,and HHH/Cactus. Why would you get heat for that? It was an awesome series, and helped improve WCW's match quality from there after. I am rather fond of the Austin-Benoit series (11/20/00, 5/21/01, 5/28/01, and 5/31/01). Always wished we could have seen more from them. A PPV singles match would have been wonderful. CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2003 For WWE strictly: Bret/Owen Benoit/Jericho 2000 tag teams (E&C, Hardys, Dudleys) Recent ones would include the Smackdown 6, and Benoit/Angle (even though that could be included in the SD 6).
