From the new fall season, what do you like and what are you looking forward to?

I'm liking Playmakers and 10-8. Although 10-8 is going to mess with the Simpsons this year. And I'm looking forward to A Minute With Stan Hooper and I might check into Tru Calling.

don't think it counts for Fall season as the season finale is tonight but Nip/tuck owns. Watching the end of the finale now

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Oh man, was so great when Christian sees the baby come out and sees that it's black, the look on his face was priceless, heh

Nip/Tuck has became my favorite show on television since it debuted on July 22. Unfortunately, the season ended tonight (in great fashion with not one, BUT TWO swerves) and will not return until an undetermined date in 2004.

I'll probably check out Tru Calling, and that's really about it.

THE O.C is really the only network show that has got my attention...

The only new show I'm watching is Two and a Half Men. Charlie Sheen owns!

Married to Kellys is a good show...That's the one with the Irish Pub owners and Gay Parents right?

And can anyone agree with me when I say that Skin is going to run out of ideas after about episode 5?

I agree with you. Skin would probably work better as a mini-series.

If I have to hear that guy yell "His father is the district attorney!!!" just one more time, I think I'm gonna have to firebomb Fox headquarters. Dear God that pisses me off.

No way...Each side has about 15 stereotypes to hammer across...all they got to do is alternate...

- The Joe Schmo Show is great. Too bad you can't repeat it.

- Playmakers is one of those shows where it's not great, but you get hooked on it anyways. It does for me what I suppose The O.C. does for others.

- Karen Sisco. Probably the most solid new show out there. Carla Gugino is does more for me than Lopez. They need to have more gray characters in the classic Elmore Leonard mold, though.

Nip/Tuck owned all!

Playmakers and Joe Schmo are good too.

FX is replaying The Sheild from episode 1 every tuesday!

The O.C. by far. Has rapidly risen to be one of my favorite shows thanks to some great character development in the summer run. Can't wait for the return next Wednesday, and I'm glad that FOX opted to move it away from the Thursday deathslot.

I may give Tru Calling a shot. I was going to watch Skin as well, but forgot all about it.

You evidently aren't the only one:

'Skin,' 'Joe Millionaire' fall flat among Monday viewers

Associated Press

NEW YORK -- Even if you caught only a few innings of postseason baseball on Fox, you likely saw promos for Skin and the new season of Joe Millionaire. Despite the heavy promotion, both series premieres flopped Monday, each drawing fewer than 7 million viewers.

"We're disappointed," said Gail Berman, Fox entertainment president. "I wish I knew what happened last night."

Joe Millionaire was last winter's surprise hit, with viewers drawn to the twist of women chasing an eligible man they were fooled into thinking was rich. The series' final episode was watched by 40 million viewers in February.

Despite many people considering the Joe Millionaire premise a one-shot joke, Fox ordered a sequel. It has the same twist, but this time features European women.

It was seen by an estimated 6.6 million people Monday, placing fifth in its time slot, according to Nielsen Media Research. Even the WB, with 7th Heaven, fared better.

"It's not believable," said Marc Berman, a television analyst for Media Week Online. "How many people out there really believe these women don't know what this show is?"

Fox is sticking with it, though it clearly won't be the phenomenon it was in its first incarnation, Fox's Berman said.

Skin was the bigger disappointment. The drama about a relationship between a pornographer's daughter and a district attorney's son was seen by 6.5 million people -- less than the premiere of last season's girl's club, which was canceled after two episodes.

By contrast, Fox drew more than 20 million people to three of its baseball games in the past weeks, peaking with the 27.5 million who watched the seventh game of the Yankees-Red Sox playoff series.

The Skin showing was perplexing to many in the TV business because the show drew generally good reviews and received a massive push during uncommonly popular baseball series.

Fox will air the show a second time later this week and keep Skin in its Monday time slot. The Fox entertainment president noted another new Fox drama, The O.C., started slow and built its audience.

"We're experiencing a taste of what all the other networks are facing this fall," she said. "It's tough to reach this young adult audience."

-----------------------

I don't know if the lack of a Joe Millionaire audience is surprising or not. I thought it would do ok, but I guess people realize it's a one-shot deal.

As for Skin, well, I can't say I'm not a little happy. They've been hyping that show too much.

No you're talking about It's All Relative. I enjoy the show and I liked the guy who plays the Irish dad on The Job.

That killed me. It was the look on Christian's face that did it.

Nip / Tuck definitely has become one of my favorites. As has MI:5 (aka "Spooks").

Like many others here, I'll give Skin & Tru Calling a shot.

Just a quick question about Tru Calling though, for those who have seen the longer preview of the show - is the blonde woman that true tries to help in (what I presume to be) the series opener Hudson Leick of Xena fame?

Duck Dodgers has been a solid show so far. The Green Lantern episode was hilarious.

I like Joe Schmo a lot.
