Vern Gagne Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 A high of -2 below, with a windchill of -20 below zero. winter sucks.
Damaramu Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Oklahoma sucks. It was like 70 degrees on Friday. Today? It's below freezing.
The Kid Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Ahahaha...-25 with a -20 windchill, feel the burn!
Ravenbomb Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Yeah, where's all this global warming we've been hearing about? *Sprays arasol (sp?) can* Fuck the grandkids, I'm cold now!
Matt Young Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 I hear ya. It was 57 degrees the other day, and today it's like 10 below with the wind chill. Although, to be fair, this winter has been far warmer on average than the typical central Illinois winter, which usually features below zero temperatures from early December- late February at least.
{''({o..o})''} Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 A high of -2 below, with a windchill of -20 below zero. winter sucks. Minneapolis?
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 -46 degree windchill here tonight. So shut up.
DerangedHermit Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Meh....it's warm here (a balmy 37 degrees)
spiny norman Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 I love being in the Southern Hemisphere. 30+ degrees, I don't know what that is in your stupid inferior Farenheit. Nearing 100, I guess.
Matt Young Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 I love being in the Southern Hemisphere. 30+ degrees, I don't know what that is in your stupid inferior Farenheit. Nearing 100, I guess. Zero degrees Celsius is equal to 32 degrees fahrenheit, so it's in the mid 60's there by our temperature scale.
CanadianChick Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 It's friggin' -10 to -15 here...the so called mildest part of Canada! And there's a huge snow warning. Do you know how cold it is to come out of a pool with wet hair in -10? Not fun, not fun at all.
treble Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 We were supposed to get all this snow, but we hardly got any. The wind's cold, though, which is made worse since it was above freezing just a few days ago, so I've just got to avoid going outside as much as possible.
CanadianChick Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 We've had some snow. More than what we're used to. But nothing too drastic. I bet this whole big 'snow storm' will be a foot at the most, which is pretty much child's play everywhere else in this fine country.
Downhome Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Damn, I wish it got that cold down here in SC damnit, I really do. Right now it's about 37 out side, after being 50-60 for the past week or so.
Dr. Tom Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 I love being in the Southern Hemisphere. 30+ degrees, I don't know what that is in your stupid inferior Farenheit. Nearing 100, I guess. Zero degrees Celsius is equal to 32 degrees fahrenheit, so it's in the mid 60's there by our temperature scale. Unless I became really bad at math, 30C = 86F. 35C would be 95F, so something in the 30s Celcius could definitely break 100 Farenheit. (Celsius degress x 1.8) + 32 = Farenheit degrees (Farenheit degrees - 32)/1.8 = Celsius degrees
Vern Gagne Posted January 6, 2004 Author Report Posted January 6, 2004 A high of -2 below, with a windchill of -20 below zero. winter sucks. Minneapolis? St.Paul
Guest OctoberBlood Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Yeah, it's like getting down to -5 here.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 We're jsut getting the coldness here in Wheeling. The last two days were near 60(well, Saturday and Sunday), yesterday it dipped into the upper 20s while still RAINING. Today, I went outside to grab some cds out of my truck, and the fucking locks were frozen. Fuck Mother Nature.
Zetterberg is God Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Ahahaha...-25 with a -20 windchill, feel the burn! But of course with Calgary's insane weather, we'll be at +2 by the end of the week.
Spaceman Spiff Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Yeah, where's all this global warming we've been hearing about? *Sprays arasol (sp?) can* Fuck the grandkids, I'm cold now! Hey, it's Drew Carey
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Looks like we're actually going into another Ice Age, possibly. Global Warming is a fine, fine crock of shit.
EdwardKnoxII Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Hell for the last 3 days in TN. it was around 65 degrees. Now it's 35 and cold.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Didn't scientists recently prove that the ozone is repairing itself or something? Fark it.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Thursday & Friday, it's supposed to be 18 & 19, staying in the Teens over the weekend. Fucking hell *awaits the oh so fun time of having to scrape more ice & snow off his car windows*
CanadianChick Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Huh. It's actually snowing pretty hard over here. Can't remember the last time it has snowed this hard. Weird weather.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 It's 81 here. God, my life is hard.
Art Sandusky Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 It's been getting cooler here all day, it'll probably bottom out around 25 tomorrow night and get back up to highs in the 60s again.
MillenniumMan831 Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 I love being in the Southern Hemisphere. 30+ degrees, I don't know what that is in your stupid inferior Farenheit. (Celsius degress x 1.8) + 32 = Farenheit degrees (Farenheit degrees - 32)/1.8 = Celsius degrees I would just double it and add 30 . . . should get a decent approximation that way.
syxx2001 Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 Its 73 in Miami. 46 In Houston. 8 in Chicago. 1 in Winnipeg.
KanadianKrusty Posted January 7, 2004 Report Posted January 7, 2004 Here it's -20C without windchill, but compared to what we'll be getting in the next few weeks it's not that cold, just slightly colder that average.
