Vince McMahon has plans to have Mordecai do “shocking” promos as part of his character development. I am not sure exactly what that means, but considering that Vince is saying it will be shocking, well, that covers a lot of ground.

Viacom, which owns UPN and SpikeTV, announced today that the company’s President and COO Mel Karmazin has resigned from the company. I am not sure how, or even if, that affects WWE yet.

Adam Lebow sent word that during Raw in Canada last night, they were airing teases for Vince McMahon’s appearances on “Off The Record”, which start today. In the teasers, they are promoting that we will find out “what really happened with WWE and Steve Austin” as well as get new details concerning Bret Hart.

In other news about Vince McMahon, Adam Lebow sent the following … Slam! Sports/Wrestling made a mention today that Vince McMahon will be doing a one-on-one interview that will run starting tonight and all of Wednesday during various times of the day. Typically their interviews last for a few minutes and while not as in-depth as the TSN One-on-One they are rather good short pieces. Unlike TSN, The Score doesn't have scheduled times for when it will run, so it is more of just watch and see thing, although it will probably be part of the highlight package they air (They run 12 hrs of sports highlights from the previous day on loop, so it will just be added into that).

Of course, today is the day that WWE will announce that SummerSlam is coming to Toronto this summer. They have a press conference scheduled for noon today.

Rob Van Dam caught some heat from management when he was late for the Smackdown brand house show in Kingston, Ontario over the weekend. RVD, who lives in Southern California, had a flight out the night before the show but changed his plans and flew out the day of the event. Because of that, he got there shortly before show time. RVD has had something of a problem with being late for the start of the tours lately and it’s becoming something of an issue with management.

Trivia Magazine has a question for everyone. They want to know why Toronto is such a great market and if Sting will be coming to WWE anytime soon. This will be Mordecai's shocking promo. Mordecai will admitt that he is the Undertakers DAD. Yes you heard right. It seems that after UT set the fire that killed his folks on purpose (is that still in the storyline or what?) God decided that Mordecai must avenge what his son has done to him and what Paul Bearer did to his wife. So God gives him power and send him to the future (2004) at the best time to get his revenge.

 

Mordecai is after UT, his son, because he burned him and his wife and went to the darkside. And he is after Paul Bearer because he slept with his wife and ended up fathering Kane, another member of the darkside. After the feud is done with UT Mordecai then goes to RAW to go after Kane.
