At today's WWE show in Tokyo, Japan, both Rob Van Dam and Jamie Noble were complaining of back pain. Noble's injury seemed to have come during his match, while RVD was experiencing pain and complaining about it after the show.

Both Chris Jericho and Hulk Hogan are on the current "I Love the 90's" show on VH-1 that runs constantly. Jericho was talking about Zubaz pants and the Crash Test dummies.

This Thursday on WWE's Byte This webcast, Rhyno stated that he'd rather blow his brains out than go back to Smackdown. He mentioned that the writers for the show had no idea what to do with him, and he is very happy to now be on RAW.

If his own words are true, Chavo Guerrero Classic was drugged and kidnapped on the days of the house shows that led to his release from WWE.

By now, everyone knows the story: Chavo was fired for missing two shows without calling in to explain. Original reports stated that he took the firing in stride and accepted it. However, the latest word is that Classic actually claimed to management that he was "drugged and kidnapped." Very few believe this story, especially since Eddie and Chavo Jr. did not fight for Classic's job.

Many also contest Classic's claim that he had rejected various storylines proposed by management while still with the company.

Jim Ross recently went on record and used the word “challenging” to describe several aspects of the Great American Bash PPV which fell far below anyone’s expectations. He stated that Kenzo Suzuki, Luther Reigns, and Mordecai weren’t established yet and not ready for PPVs. He gave the overall PPV a slight thumbs down.

A new US champion will be crowned next week, with John Cena working a program with whoever it is (there is talk of Booker T, management aren't too happy with Rene Dpree at the moment). The angle will be that Cena will introduce his own, custom made US title which will lead to a unification match on PPV.

Mick Foley will be appearing on Ring of Honor's September 11 event.

Newsday has article up about former WWE star Akeem who now works on death row.

Eddie Guerrero did work the second Japan show despite his hamstring injuries. He was heavily protected in his match (he teamed with The Undertaker against Kurt Angle and John Bradshaw Layfield).

The two Japan shows did not sell out but due to high ticket prices, grossed a very high amount. The exact numbers are not available yet but it is expected that the two shows grossed over $2 million at the gate.

WWE's RAW Diva Search special on Spike TV yesterday drew a 1.1 rating with a 2 share.

Chris Jericho is putting his alterego “Mongoose McQueen” to rest for future Fozzy recordings. Jericho is said to be very happy with the original music the band has produced and wants to continue on that route moving forward.

Mick Foley underwent knee surgery last week and is healing well.

Gail Kim is out of action as one of her implants was leaking. We'll keep you posted.

Kevin Fertig (who was Mordecai) has totally changed his look and has been sent back to OVW.

Speaking of the OVW training center, Akio & Sakoda have both been sent back there as well.

Test, who is set to undergo neck surgery shortly, was on his way out of WWE. He was due to be released but as WWE don't release anyone whilst they are injured as a way of policy, he survives for now at least.

Bret Hart will be meeting with Shane McMahon at some point today.

The purpose of the meeting is to figure out a deal where a Bret Hart DVD can be produced by WWE.

We'll keep you posted.

Finally....whoever had a hard on for Test and his non-stop pushes to get over has finally gave up on him.

I hope Rhyno doesn't get in trouble for his comments....they might send him back to Smackdown as punishment.

Everything else isn't too important, but it's nice to know Akeem is working with people being prepared to be executed.

Well it was nice of Bossman to recommend his old buddy Akeem for the job.

It'll be interesting to see how Cena and Book pull off a unification bout, especially if they decide to make a ladder match.

He also gave an excellent explanation for the premise of "the X-Files".

Jericho's role on the "I Love the..." shows is one of the Explainer Guys, as he always has to do the set up while Hal Sparks and Michael Ian Black get all the best lines.

Bret Hart will be meeting with Shane McMahon at some point today.

Sadly, I can't come up with just the right Montreal joke for this. Can someone help me out?

Hopefully Knoble's isn't serious. I always liked the guy, but he's become one of my favorite guys in the entire company.

Bret said last night that he wants the iron man match with HBK on the dvd, the matches with Mr. Perfect, the owen tribute match, the match with Hakushi and a couple of others.

Hopefully they seprate it into different sections, in order to focus on the whole Hart/Austin feud, so as to include the Hart Foundation, and maybe guess commentary between Bret and HBK.

Hogan was being typical Hogan with his comments.

On Jesse Ventura becoming Governor in 98: "I knew we were all in trouble". He went on to say that if Jesse were to run for president, he would have Hogan's vote (yeah, right) ... but made sure to mention that the Hulkster could still beat Jesse in the ring (um ... because it would be a legit fight, right?). Sadly, he didn't mention the fact that it was his fault Jesse was fired in 90.

Oh, and apprently Hogan sneaks into his office to watch Jerry Springer.

As long as he says that its been a lifelong dream of his to work with HHH when he is asked about those comments, I'd say he'd be fine.

I think the comments won't be an issue. It seems like they are trying to make it look like the brands are in competition with each other.

I really hope this happen, as the owen and iron man matches are already on on other DVDs, and would jsut take up space(especially the Iron Man match)

I'd be pleased/surprised if they put the waltman Raw match on there.

Bret said he considers the iron man match perhaps the greatest match ever, saying it has never been duplicated. He really wants that match on the dvd. He also said he wanted the Bulldog wembley match on there.

My Bret dvd would look like this:

Hart Foundation vs. the Rockers

Bret vs. Perfect from Summerslam

Bret vs. Piper from Wrestlemania

Bret vs. Bulldog from Summerslam

Bret vs. Flair 1st world title

Bret vs. HBK 1992 Survivor Series

Bret vs. 123 Kid Raw

Bret vs. Lawler Summerslam

Bret vs. Owen Mania 10

Bret vs. Austin Survivor Series

Bret vs. Austin Mania

Bret vs. Taker One Night Only

DVD Extras would Be:

Bret vs. HBK ladder match

Bret vs. Perfect King of the Ring

Bret vs. Flair WCW Souled Out

Thats my list. I took out Bret/Owen cage because it is on bloodbath and I already have one Bret/Owen match on there and the tribute match is on Chris' dvd.

That would take 4 dvds I assume, and I would buy it in a second.

I would like some of the tag team matches from the 80's with the British Bulldogs. He might ask for the company to put at least one. He always said that those matches use to steal the show back then. The Killer Bees rivalry wasn't too bad either.

I saw the Bret vs Owen ironman match the other week. These are some of the matches Bret said he wanted on the DVD. I never heard the interview but this is what I found searching around the net.

WM match against Austin

Slam match against Perfect

Raw match with Hakushi!

Survivor Series against Diesil

If he can Stampede matches against Dynamite!!!!

Some more

For historical purposes, do you think they would put the 1999 Starcade match with Goldberg? I really hope not. It was an "okay" match, but the ending just plain sucked, aside from not making sense.

I wish Bret would get over this hardon for the Iron Man match with HBK. How he, or anyone else, can be so high on that match, I'll never know.

Bret vs. Piper from Wrestlemania

Shit, I totally forgot about that one.

It's been YEARS since I saw that match, but I remember marking for it hard, because I always liked Piper (when I was a kid) and that was probably the best match I had ever seen him in.

Man, Bret's stroke has screwed up his thinking. His match with HBK at WM12 was his best ever? Yikes

And a Bret DVD should include at least one Hart Foundation v Bulldogs match. The ones from before DK's injury age extremely well.

Also, why is management allegedly down on Dupree?

May Jesus save his shoddy opinion. Lord that match was boring. Both had markedly better matches. Hell, both had markedly better matches against one another.

He supposedly developed a huge ego backstage.

Bummer. I liked the kid. Hope the report is simply sour grapes by somebody.

Dupree seems to have gotten WORSE since going solo. I liked him as part of La Rez on Raw, but he just hasn't done anything for me since going to SD! I wish Conway had his push. And why where they even considering Cena vs Dupree? Cena's pinned him, like, 8 times or something.

The US title hasn't carried my interest since Eddie lost it. I haven't seen SD! in about 2 months, but i was almost digging Dupree. Not enough for his position on the card, but in that warm & fuzzy kicking Funaki's ass on Velocity way.

The Bret DVD interests me. It by law should be as thought out as the Flair one, so that's 3 discs minimum. Just for the love of god, make it quality. I have this horrible thought of Yankem being there in some capacity.

Bret actually mentioned Yankem in the interview, saying he was a good kid at the time.

I forgot, he did say he also wanted the Diesel Sur. Series match on there, saying unlike Sabu his table spot was well thought out.

A Bret Hart DVD would be absolutely splendid.

A long list of matches to choose from and I'm happy to see that Bret apprently has a good deal of control of his DVD.

However, I will agree with the consensus about how The Iroman Match is a outlandish belief for Bret and shawn to feel is their best matches. I never really seen either men properly explain why they felt this is their best match.

Personaly, Bret's best match was 1996 Survivor Series against Steve Austin. For Shawn? Mind Games 1996.

The Ironman Match isn't even the best match between the two, It's a rather disapointing thing that The 1992 Series match goes overlooked.

I would love to see Bret Hart's DVD split into chapter form(with various promos related to that match and such)

DISC ONE

Chapter One

The Hart Foundation

Hart Foundation Vs British Bulldogs-The title change match

Hart Foundation Vs Brain Busters-Summer Slam 1989(?)

Chapter Two

The Best there is...

Bret Hart Vs Mr. Perfect Summer Slam 1991

Bret Hart Vs Roddy Piper Wrestle Mania 8

Bret Hart Vs British Bulldog Summer Slam 1992

Bret Hart Vs Ric Flair-The title change

Bret Hart Vs Owen Hart-WMX (The Cage Match is already used)

Bret Hart Vs Hakushi- Raw 1994

Bret Hart Vs Diesel-Survivor Series 1995

Disc Two

Chapter One

Shawn Michaels(A chapter devoted to their history)

Bret Hart Vs HBK-Survivor Series 1992

Bret Hart Vs HBK-IronMan Match (since bret's so die hard for it, if he wants it this bad, i'll respect it)

Bret Hart Vs HBK-Survivor Series 1997

(Might as well throw in a piece on Montreal with this section anyways)

Disc Three

My Greatest Run

(The Hart Foundation Reunite)

Bret Hart Vs Steve Austin-Survivor Series 1996

Bret Hart Vs Steve Austin-WrestleMania 13

The Canadian Stampede 10 Man Tag Match

Bret Hart Vs Undertaker-One Night Only

(This chapter is loaded with H.F Vignettes)

Chapter Two

The WCW Days

Bret Hart Vs Ric Flair-Souled Out 1998

Bret Hart Vs Chris Benoit-Owen Tribute Match

Bret Hart Vs Kevin Nash-Thunder 2000 (Bret's last match of career)

(I'm drawing a blank on other significant WCW matches. This tells you how horrid this run was)

Chapter Three

Misc. Promos-Music Videos (They SO need the "You start the fire" video).
