Out of the top 12: The Terminal and White Chicks

You knew Bourne would be #1, but that was a way bigger opening then I thought it would have.

Numbers for Catwoman have to be a letdown, but I haven't heard one good thing about it yet.

Glad I, Robot is doing well, that was a fun movie.

And Fahrenheit 9/11 becomes the first "documentary" to top $100+ million

Glad Catwoman opened to shit, the way they kept advertising the movie like you had to go see it because it was Halle Berry in a catsuit was infuriating.

I'm happy for I, Robot as well, seeing how I thought it was a great Summer flick. I really enjoyed it. I'm also happy for Borune, I loved the first one and I hear this one is even better. I can't wait to check it out.

Awesome news about Bourne, but maybe some of the book people can tell me if there is a third in the series that could come out of this?

Matt Damon has officially torched partner Ben Affleck with another big opener. Add on "Talented Mr. Ripley" and "Bourne Identity" and Damon has left Ben in a cloud of dust.

Soon to add "The Brothers Grimm" to this list as well.

Damn, people are going to the movies this summer, or at least ticket prices have gone up!

Anybody know how these numbers compare to last year?

I, Robot was fabulous. I saw this right after Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. I'm glad it's still #2, it deserves it.

How was White Castle?

I too saw the Ray trailer during The Bourne Supremacy (awesome movie) and I was very impressed, but I worry it might turn out to be like Ali with Will Smith: Good reviews, good trailers, but disappointing box numbers.

I'm shocked Borne did so well- it looked like a fun movie but not a movie that would open huge.

Catwoman is going to drop huge next week in the crowded marketplace.

A Cinderella Story helped up very well in week 2. It only fell 41% which is pretty good considering two big movies opening and the Borne Supremacy blowing everyone away with its better then expected opening. It also had been doing well on weekdays- even had a better per screen average then Spiderman 2. It looks like it has a chance to become Hilary's grossing film (not counting Cheaper of course).

There is a third book in the series, called The Bourne Ultimatum. Since they're keeping the titles, I'd expect the eventual movie to be called that, also. The movies, however, are almost nothing like the books. I will say that the books are definitely worth reading. I've heard there's a fourth book, not written by Ludlum, but I haven't seen it or read it.
