The ALCS: New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox

Recommended Posts

Guest Brian

I said it earlier, he looked so great after game three, but then he slowly fell back into that sunken state he always looks.

A thing of beauty.

And the biggest choke EVER.

I love this. I hope Boston NEVER lets New York live it down.

AS won't say a word. He refuses to admit he was wrong.

We've seen the last of Mr. Yankee.

I like Theo. He seems like a REAL FAN who can hang with the team. better then the stiff suits.

Anglesault hasn't even been at the board. And that's enough baiting him for the time being. I'm sure he'll make a prepared statement when he's ready.

Complete with subtle jabs at various Red Sox players' sexuality.

He'll be back before Thursday night at 8 P.M., on UPN!

John Henry reminds me of Crispin Glover for some reason.

Maybe because he just looks like a complete pansy who lets everyone walk all over him...and the hair.

I don't know why. This celebration seems...Sub-Dued.

As it should be. As incredible as all of this is, the final piece of the puzzle must fall into place before the true celebration begins.

I just think it's funny that the largest payroll in baseball was a part of the biggest choke in sports history. And believe me, it's the biggest choke. The Yanks had to win a single game and they dropped the next four; the last two being at home. What an utter collapse, but in the end, the better team won. And clearly, the Sox were the better team.

I actually wanted the Yanks to win, but if they couldn't manage one win in four games, then that's their prob. I'm just glad that the Cubs' collapse in the NLCS last season now looks like small beans compared to this disaster. Heads shall surely roll.

Ugh.

Quik's Super Spectacular Scapegoat Pick of the Series: Mariano Rivera. 2 Blown saves. Washed up. Failure.

Nah.

I'd say the entire Yankee offense.

Holy shit, is it possible to sit on your fucking ass that much?
