therealworldschampion Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Cashman looks like he's about to puke.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Hahahahaha little babies playing "New York, New York"... They can listen to that all off-season on the golf course.
UZI Suicide Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Astros over Red Sox in 5 or Cardinals over Red Sox in 6
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 THIS THREAD has to go to classics.
Ted the Poster Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Go Sox. Damon sounds like Mitch Hedberg.
Guest Brian Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I said it earlier, he looked so great after game three, but then he slowly fell back into that sunken state he always looks.
therealworldschampion Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Man even Billy Crystal looked like he was ready to cry
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 THIS THREAD has to go to classics. Fuck no. There are more insightful posts in five pages of the NLCS thread than in this thread.
Vyce Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 A thing of beauty. And the biggest choke EVER. I love this. I hope Boston NEVER lets New York live it down.
therealworldschampion Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 When Anglesault comes in, THEN this goes to Classics.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 AS won't say a word. He refuses to admit he was wrong. We've seen the last of Mr. Yankee.
Red Baron Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Wow. Who'd thunk? Other than some whiner Yankee fans around here.
therealworldschampion Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 John Henry reminds me of Crispin Glover for some reason.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I hope someone corks Francona in the eye.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Anglesault hasn't even been at the board. And that's enough baiting him for the time being. I'm sure he'll make a prepared statement when he's ready.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I like Theo. He seems like a REAL FAN who can hang with the team. better then the stiff suits.
therealworldschampion Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I'll be playing the Patton music like they do on WFAN with Steinbrenner's statements when they're read.
Big McLargeHuge Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Anglesault hasn't even been at the board. And that's enough baiting him for the time being. I'm sure he'll make a prepared statement when he's ready. Complete with subtle jabs at various Red Sox players' sexuality.
BX Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Anglesault hasn't even been at the board. And that's enough baiting him for the time being. I'm sure he'll make a prepared statement when he's ready. He'll be back before Thursday night at 8 P.M., on UPN!
Guest Brian Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 David Ortiz - 11 RBI's is a post-season series record. Mr. October.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I don't know why. This celebration seems...Sub-Dued.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 David Ortiz - 11 RBI's is a post-season series record. Mr. October. I find it amusing that no one took him in the Fantasy Champions competition. Ditto for Carlos Beltran.
Guest LooneyTune Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 John Henry reminds me of Crispin Glover for some reason. Maybe because he just looks like a complete pansy who lets everyone walk all over him...and the hair.
Shooting Star Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 David Ortiz was the MVP! dominican pride!!
Shooting Star Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I'm happy boston won but that probably means Ortiz and Manny Ramirez won't be able to play in the caribbean world series this year =(
Bruiser Chong Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I don't know why. This celebration seems...Sub-Dued. As it should be. As incredible as all of this is, the final piece of the puzzle must fall into place before the true celebration begins. I just think it's funny that the largest payroll in baseball was a part of the biggest choke in sports history. And believe me, it's the biggest choke. The Yanks had to win a single game and they dropped the next four; the last two being at home. What an utter collapse, but in the end, the better team won. And clearly, the Sox were the better team. I actually wanted the Yanks to win, but if they couldn't manage one win in four games, then that's their prob. I'm just glad that the Cubs' collapse in the NLCS last season now looks like small beans compared to this disaster. Heads shall surely roll.
Guest Quik Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Ugh. Quik's Super Spectacular Scapegoat Pick of the Series: Mariano Rivera. 2 Blown saves. Washed up. Failure.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Are they chanting, "Whose your daddy?"
Guest LooneyTune Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Fitting song to end the series...
DerangedHermit Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Ugh. Quik's Super Spectacular Scapegoat Pick of the Series: Mariano Rivera. 2 Blown saves. Washed up. Failure. Nah. I'd say the entire Yankee offense. Holy shit, is it possible to sit on your fucking ass that much?
