Rob E Dangerously Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 here's my short list I live in Missouri Kansas is a short drive to the west. Very flat. I've been Oklahoma on a trip to a wedding in Texas. Red dirt. Oil dereks. Arkansas was cool. I was down there like 10 years ago with my dad for a Razorbacks game. Texas is hot. I was down there for a wedding once. The second time was with my grandparents in Austin over a spring break. Illinois was for like 15 minutes. Somehow, I was with family in St. Louis, and we ended up crossing into East St. Louis on the way to the Arch. I don't know how that really came about. But it was nothing like it was in Vacation. How about you world travelers?
2GOLD Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Lemme think... Mass, New York, Conn, NH, New Jersey, PA, Ohio, Indiana, West Va, Maryland, DE, Va, NC, SC, Tenn, Georiga, Florida, and briefly Michigan. So, not really many at this point. I plan to add New Mexico (my gf finishes school, thank GOD) and CA to that list next year and maybe even more than that.

2GOLD Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Why the hell did you come to Delaware? There is nothing here...unless you want Scrapple. You want scrapple? Cause we have tons and tons of scrapple. Unless it was a pass through, then that makes sense.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 (edited) I live in NY, but I also lived in Louisiana (And before I hear it, yes, I know Tropical Storm Matthew hit LA. I've gotten the phone calls) for four years. So I've been to every state between here and there (most of the east coast, + Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky Tennessee and West Virgina; - Delaware. Seriously, I know no one that has actually gotten off the interstate in Delaware.) I've also been to Maine, New Hampshire, Mass, Connecticut, RI, Vermont, Texas, Arkansas and Arizona Edited October 11, 2004 by Anglesault

Fökai Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 --Hawaii (born and raised there) --California (vacation) --Oregon (school) --Washington (spring break) --Nevada (vacation) Sure, it's a small list, but I've locked up a hard one by default (Hawaii).
Lil' Bitch Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 - Florida (live near Miami for a good number of years before Hurricane Andrew came and fucked up the place.) My dad loved driving across the country back in the day (We used to have an RV) Been to Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missiouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, California, Oregon, and finally my current home state of Nevada.
Kardo Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales (and if you count it ever though it's a territory ACT too).
cbacon Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 New York Illinois Florida Passed through a bunch including Michigan, Tennessee and Georgia to get to Flordia however. In Canada, just Ontario and Quebec.
Silence Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 South Carolina Tennessee West Virginia (don't laugh, my parents, my nephew, and I had to go on a one-night trip to a factory to give Christmas gifts to underprivileged children in 2000) Florida (when I was somewhere around 3 or 4 years old, and it was at Disney World. I know how shitty that place is now, though) Maryland (Washington D.C. trip with my 5th grade class in 1997) Alabama (at the Space Center in 1998) Georgia (on the way to Alabama) Sadly enough, I've only mostly been to southern states since they're closer to North Carolina.

OH -- lived there. Would have liked it better if I could have gotten a real job there. NJ -- went to the Boardwalk as a kid. Nothing worth saying. MD -- went to Baltimore. Nice aquariam. Too many black people. CT -- shithole. Too expensive and more road construction areas with nobody working than Pennslyvania. FL -- too humid and too many old people. CA -- great weather. VA/W.VA -- can't remember. Mexico -- too many poor people. Canada -- too expensive, but very clean...

Guest Vitamin X Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 I was born in Miami, moved to California and lived there for 14 years, and moved back and forth in the last year or two, currently residing in Miami. I've done that cross country trip all too many times California- Hey, it's where I was raised. I love it and its lunacies. Great weather, mostly polite albeit detached people. Arizona- Interesting place, decent people. Like California but hotter and no water. New Mexico- Sucks. I-10 becomes bleak and despairing here, as it's just one long infinite road into the horizon, kind of like those old racing games on the Atari or the arcade. Cool fireworks stands all over the place though. Texas- Fucking hate it. What a miserable, dull state.. Well at least until I got to Austin and Houston. Those were nice. But fuck I hate Texas. Lousiana- Loved it. Totally helped me get over the lameness of Texas and its people. Car broke down in a small town here called Iowa, LA and everyone in the town came and helped out, so I got to experience Southern hospitality first hand. Guy came out and fixed my car and sent us on our way for only $25! This is the kinda thing you won't see in big towns. I love Louisiana. Mississippi, Alabama- Didn't notice much other than the scenery was real nice in MS. Florida- Um.. Yay? I fucking hate Northern Florida. In fact, I really dislike the whole of Florida minus the city of Miami. I've also been to Washington DC and Virginia, and that's about it.

Especially with eggs and ketchup on toast. That's a damn good morning for me.
