godthedog Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 i would've given myself a 7. i don't even post that often anymore, and when i do it's rarely anything of note, just coasting on my past successes (of which i don't really even have that many).
Dr. Tom Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 I give myself an 11. And if you don't get the reference, I give you a 0 for being tragically unhip.
... Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 Tragically Unhip? But I'm ahead by a century!
Guest GeorgeCostanza Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 I don't want hope. Hope is killing me. My dream is to become hopeless. When you're hopeless you don't care. And when you don't care, that indifference makes you attractive.
Guest Fire and Knives Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 Agent is somebody I would do drugs with. 8/10. K.
Cartman Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 I'd like to tie someone up in my basement and throw baseballs at their face for a good half hour straight... Specifically, who, and why? Your score is pending. Nobody in particular...i'm really not all that picky. If it makes you happy i'll let you be the first. just because.
godthedog Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 I give myself an 11. And if you don't get the reference, I give you a 0 for being tragically unhip. so many things wrong with this. 1) the quality of the reference itself is bad. everybody knows it, and it's ridiculously overused. 2) you brought attention to the fact that it was a reference. never ever ever do this; the whole point is for those "in the know" to get it, and for it to fly over the heads of everyone else. when you say "that was a reference," it leaves the former saying "no shit, sherlock" and the latter saying "so what?" 3) you basically congratulated yourself on the reference. even if it WAS a good reference, the self-congratulation makes you look significantly less cool. since this was not a good reference in the first place, it makes you look like eddie deezen, squinting through your coke bottle glasses while you say "hey everybody, look how cool i am" through your nose.
AboveAverage484 Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 Evaluate me. Remember? The guy who used to make all those lame ass heavy metal posts in the music folder? And what's with these gimmick posters lately? George Costanza? Captain Fag? Sigmund Freud? Dr. Phil? Gimmick posters should be immediately banned to the depths of hell.
... Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 Captain Fag? That's the best you can do? 0.4/10

Just one thing wrong with this. 1. My not-serious post deserved about one second of analysis. You gave it 50,000 times that.
spiny norman Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 50,000 seconds of analysis equates to a little less than 14 hours. I highly doubt godthedog spent that long analysing your post.
Spaceman Spiff Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 Dr. Tom Posted: Oct 27 2004, 05:16 PM godthedog Posted: Oct 28 2004, 12:03 AM You're right, it was only a little under 7 hours.
alfdogg Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 OK, time to move this thread to Get Your Learn On.
Zack Malibu Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 The only reason I wouldn't be a 9 or a 10 is because Agent and I have absolutely nothing in common. We did kinda-sorta discuss Journey once, and he doesn't actively hate me, so I guess I should be satisfied with that.

Just one thing wrong with this. 1. My not-serious post deserved about one second of analysis. You gave it 50,000 times that. several things wrong with this: 1. if you only have one thing to say, don't list it as a numbered bullet point. the whole idea of numbering points is to put multiple points together in some order, and having only one point defeats the purpose. it's literally like saying, "i have one and only one thing to say: 1. _____________" see? doesn't quite work. 2. the point itself is faulty, in that your only criticism is the amount of analysis i devoted to the post, not in anything i actually said. so even judging by your criticism, the content of my post is still correct and you still come off like a dork. 3. your entire "you're devoting too much time to this" defense can be applied to each and every comment ever made on an internet wrestling message board. the fact that we devote too much time to any of this at all is a given, and you can't single anyone out for it. i'm reminded of an episode of 'jerry springer' wherein two transvestites got in an argument and started calling each other raving queens: it made no sense at all to do so, since they were both raving queens. you're a good kid and you've got a lot of potential, and i only wish to help you out like this because i like you. however, if you don't start addressing these helpful criticisms as such, choosing instead to brashly swat them away, i will give up on you and start making fun of you. and nobody wants that.
The Metal Maniac Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 GodtheDog makes me want to turn off avatars.
Slayer Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 I'd pay good (Canadian) money to see someone make a fool of DocTom
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 however, if you don't start addressing these helpful criticisms as such, choosing instead to brashly swat them away, i will give up on you and start making fun of you. and nobody wants that. Oh, I beg to differ.
AboveAverage484 Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 GodtheDog makes me want to turn off avatars. Why? Baloo rules!
The Metal Maniac Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 good (Canadian) money Isn't that oxymoronic?
Slayer Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Well, you don't expect me to spend good American money on this do you?
Giuseppe Zangara Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 When he checks back in this thread, Agent will know how I feel whenever I read the board.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 you can be banky 2
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 When he checks back in this thread, Agent will know how I feel whenever I read the board. The cancer thing? I already replied to that. godthedog is showing why he's a 9, and Dr. Tom is a 6. Also, Zack Malibu gets a 4, for reasons he's already stated that should be obvious to everyone.
