1234-5678 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2004 Do I even have to answer? I miss Axl Rose, not even Guns N Roses. Just Axl and whoever he decides to hire.

Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 29, 2004 Yeah, nothing will top Guns N' Roses from late 80's early 90's. I grew up on them, man. They were like the first band that I ever went out of my way to listen to extra songs by them. Up until that point, I just heard what was on the radio or listened to the records that my parents had. They were the first band that I can remember where I would listen to a whole CD/Record without skipping tracks. So, obviously I have to pick them. I will throw out another band though. How about Queen? When Freddie went out with AIDS, it was the end of an era for me.

1234-5678 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2004 Candlebox? "Far Behind" and "You" are still regularly played around here, but that band seemingly disappeared without a trace.
the max 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2004 Soundgarden. No, Audioslave isn't the same.
1234-5678 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2004 Yeah, Soundgarden was great and Audioslave definitely has no appeal for me. My one friend swears by it, and forces me to listen to their goddamn CD at every opportunity though. Bastard.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2004 Black Crowes Shake Your Money Maker, Amorica and The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion are really underrated albums.

Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2004 I thought Fenix TX was just getting better when they split. They seemed to be ditching the punk-pop little by little in favor for just rock.

Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2004 The Cars, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys........I must be old... Maybe a bit old, but not hopeless. Depeche Mode's not done recording, and Exciter was pretty good. The Pet Shop Boys are still putting out good stuff too, though not quite at the peak of the late 80s. Candlebox Tool (not broken up, just too long since Lateralus... I'm getting edgy) Other stuff too, I suppose. I can't think of any more at the moment.
