Guest shis Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Any Tupac fans in here? My favorite Tupac song is - "Pour Out A Littler Liquor"
Bruiser Chong Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 You should look around this folder. TSM hate black people.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 You might want to study up on your metal and your 80's pop to stay alive here.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 And the critcally acclaimed songwriters loved throughout the 'Net. Anyway, I'm quite the Tupac fan, with Me Against the World being my favourite album of his. I think that it may be the best hip-hop album of all-time.
razazteca Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 You might want to study up on your metal and your 80's pop to stay alive here. Better discover what the difference between 80's punk and new wave is. As for 2pac love well I did enjoy his time as a member of Digital Underground.
Nighthawk Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 You guys are dumbasses. There's more rap fans here than the average place of comparable nature. 2Pac is cool, but I think he's hurt by being forever associated with Biggie Smalls, cause Biggie is a lot better than him. Me Against the World is an excellent album, and though I wouldn't call it the best hip hop album ever, it's one of the best gangsta rap albums ever, hovering around the same level as Doggystyle, with The Chronic and Ready to Die being a little better in my opinion. Changes is actually my favorite 2Pac song. I like the sampling, among other things.

Nighthawk Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 I have no idea. But I imagine that any positive mention of rap is way above average on white dork wrestling boards where half the people are from canada and the other half watch buffy.
1234-5678 Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 Changes is actually my favorite 2Pac song. I like the sampling, among other things. That song pisses me off because it was released as "I Wonder If Heaven's Got A Ghetto" quite a few years earlier, and that was definitely a superior song. They slapped a catchy hook on it and rereleased it to suck the man's corpse even dryer. That being said, "Keep Ya Head Up" and "Krazy" are probably my two favorite Pac songs.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 He was ok, but I was never much of a fan.

Firstly, that's yet another reason Biggie is the better martyr, the 2Pac cottage industry, but I must say that this is one instance where the song's better when the guy's dead.
Lil' Bitch Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 "How Do You Want It?" for me hand downs.
1234-5678 Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 "How Do You Want It?" for me hand downs. Ever hear the radio version of that song? God, I caught it yesterday, it's so fuckin bad.

My favorite Pac song is 'So Many Tears' BTW, Anybody see Tupac Ressurection? I thought it was a pretty damn good for a documentary. The man was definetly brilliant.
Black Lushus Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 "How Do You Want It?" for me hand downs. Ever hear the radio version of that song? God, I caught it yesterday, it's so fuckin bad. It's because he curses about 50% of the time in the regular version... I really don't think Biggie could be considered bigger than 2Pac, but it's all a matter of opinion...just seems to me 2Pac had ten times more exposure in the media spotlight than Biggie, be it good or bad...

The man was definetly brilliant. Yeah definitely a fantastic song. I point to that song to show people how lyrically brilliant the man was. As far as Resurrection? Eh, I dunno, I guess I just expected better. I had seen 90% of the footage already too, so that didn't help it.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Just wanted to point out that Pour Out a Little was actually a Thug Life song.....not a Tupac one. I'm just being specefic is all. I actually like that song and the Thug Life album......they actually had some really good samples on there. But I would have to say my favorite Pac album is Me Against The World. I till this day think that is his realest one.......
Black Lushus Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I'm partial to old school, 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I'm partial to old school, 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. Don't get me wrong, I like both of those albums too. It's just that there is a lot of buillshit on 2Pacalypse Now that has been factually discredited by Pac himself(so I think the album is now dated and irrelevant).....but Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. is a hell of an album though.....
Guest cpac Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Off topic but has anybody seen the pic of 2pac and Suge Knight in Suges car right before they got shot at. Kind of said to see it knowing that 2pac is going to be shot at a couple of minutes later.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I'm a big Pac fan. My fav Pac song is "Life Goes On" with "I Aint Mad At Cha" and "Dear Mama" right up there.
1234-5678 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I'm in the minority here...........I loved the first "Makaveli" album.
Guest cpac Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Yeah thats the pic, his autopsy pic is just as worse. The story is that Suge and 2pac were pulled over by the police for playing the music too loud or something. They then stopped at 4 way intersection when that pic was taken. Very sad knowing that 2pac would be shot a couple of minutes after that pic.
1234-5678 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 People love to point out that Pac is not wearing his bulletproof vest there, something he never went out without.
ant_7000 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 My Favorite Pac Tracks: "Keep ya head up" "Dear mama" "I get around" "Brenda had a Baby" "I just don't give a fuck" "I aint mad at chea" "Hail Mary" "Against all Odds" "So many tears" "Pain" "Thugz Mansion" w/o Nas "Changes" "Letter to my Unborn Child" I hear Pac is going to have a new album, and 13 tracks are going to produce by Eminem. (Shakes Head in Disgust)
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I'm in the minority here...........I loved the first "Makaveli" album. I guess I'll join the club then JaxL.......I thought it was a great album.
Guest fanofcoils Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Survivor Series 94, Tupac was bullet free then, a week later shot 5 times.
NoCalMike Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Don't forget "Shortie wanna be a thug"
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I like 2pac's older stuff -- 2paclypse Now. Good stuff...
