Toshiaki Koala Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 This was posted on the DVDVR board, so some of you may have already seen it, but I had to bring it to TSM as it's possibly the greatest thing I've ever seen. A truncated version is now in my signature. Enjoy.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 The Magic Carpet Splash? Uh...I think a double underhook piledriver would be a lot cooler.
Guest Anglesault Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Oh my. And they aren't seriously giving him the name "Shawn" are they?
JoeDirt Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Daivari's the manager, he won't even wrestle. Hassan is using the camel clutch as a finisher at house shows.
Toshiaki Koala Posted December 2, 2004 Author Report Posted December 2, 2004 Hassan is using the camel clutch as a finisher at house shows. Tee-hee! Them Dubya Dubya Eee writers sure are clever folks.
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Maybe he sucks too much to do anything else?
AndrewTS Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Hassan is using the camel clutch as a finisher at house shows. Tee-hee! Them Dubya Dubya Eee writers sure are clever folks. eh, that's pretty much the standard-issue Middle Eastern wrestler finisher. The Sultan used it too. I hope it's at least like the Steiner version with the arms hooked, though.
Guest Fook Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Does he also stomp his foot three times to load his boot?
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Oh my. And they aren't seriously giving him the name "Shawn" are they? His WWE name is "Koshrow"
Guest theanswer1824 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 that's an awesome finisher... can't wait for this guy to make his debut. can the guy work though? i hope he isn't a bust because i've enjoyed his promos, esp the liquor store one.
MillenniumMan831 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Didn't he wrestle Tommy Dreamer on Heat a long while back and try that finisher? IIRC, he missed, got DDTd, and it was all over.
Guest Desperate Housewife Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Khosrow is the Iron Sheik's real name, isn't it?
Guest Trivia247 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Ahh the Camel Clutch, the time tested friend to All Arab, Persian, and Indian wrestlers all racistly lubbed together... and the move was innovated by a Certain Deceased Mexican Wrestler.....
razazteca Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Now will it be the standand WWE issue Camel Clutch done Iron Shiek style or will it be unothodox like Scotty Riggs or Sabu versions?
Slickster Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Khosrow is the Iron Sheik's real name, isn't it? Yes, the Iron Sheik's full given name is Hossein Khosrow Vaziri.
Slickster Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Does he also stomp his foot three times to load his boot? Oh God, he MUST do this. "Cameraman, ZOOM!"
Paul Stanley Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I've seen D do this at Neo Pro shows many times before he went big, nothing special, just "we want carpet" chants
Guest Mordecai's Cathedral Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I've seen D do this at Neo Pro shows many times before he went big, nothing special, just "we want carpet" chants What does everybody want?! Carpet! Meh, they could at least change the Camel Clutch around a bit... Hell, even Jinsei Shinzaki's Goku-Raku Gatame (?) would be good.
King Cucaracha Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Didn't he wrestle Tommy Dreamer on Heat a long while back and try that finisher? IIRC, he missed, got DDTd, and it was all over. Indeed.
Guest M. Harry Smilac Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 They should call his finish the "Durka Durka"

Yeah, pretty sure that's the correct name.

Yeah, pretty sure that's the correct name. They could call it Camel Clutch '04, and it would be all good... but it's the WWE. You know that won't happen.

I'm not sure if that was because he really sucked or because of something else though...

And will Hassan have the pointy-toed boots like the Shiek did?
Guest LooneyTune Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I think Singhs finisher was some kind of slam. Maybe belly-to-belly? Whatever it was, it was pretty lame since I saw him win a FEW matches and don't remember.

Yeah, I can't believe I remember it either. Fucking lame finisher.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 And will Hassan have the pointy-toed boots like the Shiek did? Isn't it a WWE rule that if you're a Middle Eastern wrestler that you HAVE to wear pointy-toed boots?
benoit4hor Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 They should call it the Camel Toe, just so Lawler could say this. King: Here he goes JR, whoa his oppenent just tasted some carpet, and now he's going straight into the Camel Toe.
Ted the Poster Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 They should call his finish the "Durka Durka" They could bill him as being from Durkadurkastan.
