the max Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 The NESN one is pretty good, although once it gets past the ALCS, it's basically the mlb released one. I haven't watched Still We Believe yet. I'm actually looking forward to it though.
KingPK Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 You will hate the fat guy (nicknamed "Angry Bill") and the two ugly, annoying women in about 3 seconds.....and they are pretty much the "stars".

Giuseppe Zangara Posted December 27, 2004 Author Report Posted December 27, 2004 And if The Life Aquatic sucks, I'll be depressed for about a week. It was pretty awesome, fortunately.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 It was a small Christmas this year gift wise, as mom and dad spent the year moving about the country, in-and-out of hotels and apartments. But, it was a good Christmas. My list: Zappa: A Biography 7 cd's The Sports Illustrated 50th anniversery book A robe made by my aunt $20 The Total Gym 2000
Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 And if The Life Aquatic sucks, I'll be depressed for about a week. It was pretty awesome, fortunately. It was. That moment with "Search and Destroy" has got to be the best musical cue I've seen in years.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 Here's what else I got: From my parents: Hunnerd bucks and a new wallet. In the pictures in the wallet, they placed a lot of weird photos since I keep my entire life a secret from them. Milton Berle, George Clooney, Batman, and Marisa Tomei were all involved somehow. Weird fuckers. I also received many t-shirts and jeans and socks. Miller Lite beer bottle cigarette lighter, 4" scrimshaw knife, and some bass strings. Aunt Ellen got me a coffee cup the size of a cereal bowl, which is what I'm going to use it for since I hate coffee, a bag of Hersheys assorted miniatures, and twenty bucks. Best female friend got me this purple velvety kinda box, candle and square porcelain candleholder, and a copy of Snow Country by some japanese gentleman whose name escapes me. Some candy. Bandmate Beaster got me porn. I gave my mother an Elvis mug and some candles which smell like Mocha Coffee. Dad got one of those "Three movies on one DVD!" deals that cost like 8 bucks. Can't remember the theme. My mother and he watch nothing but TCM or AMC it seems, when he's not watching Fox News or sports. They'll watch about anything though, so DVD gifts are always a safe bet. Steph got this candle I found which looks and smells like a carrot cake, and is fuckin' huge, as well as Hero and some of this oreo dessert I make. I gave Bandmate Beaster some porn.
Guest Smues Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 In the spirit of saving the best for last I just exchanged gifts with my best friends and got a USB fingerprint scanner I've wanted, and a portable breathilyzer. Huzzah for gifts no one else but me the electronics geek would want.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 Aunt Ellen got me a coffee cup the size of a cereal bowl, which is what I'm going to use it for since I hate coffee This may come as a shock to you but you can put drinks in it that AREN'T coffee.
Bruiser Chong Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 Yeah, but then what would he eat cereal out of? Jackass.
Dr. Tom Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 I've gotten: $75 in Barnes and Noble gift cards (and since I'm a whore for that place, they'll go to good use) Madden 2005 (X-Box) Fable (X-Box) Seinfeld Season 3 The Others SE The Jackal SE Several shirts Socks (which I actually needed this year...) An ED REED~! replica jersey I still have to exchange gifts with a couple friends I didn't get to see in the past few days. My guess is that I'll add a couple Eddie Izzard DVDs and a gift card or two to my holiday haul.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted December 27, 2004 Report Posted December 27, 2004 I should get Madden 05 for the X-Box, get that headset shit, go online with my 2 free months and play Tom, then proceed to score all over him and say "Your defense is offensive.".
