Big Ol' Smitty Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 My father killed himself when I was 11. Thanks for bringing that up.
Mole Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 He's sleeping in the room next to me. That is all.
Jingus Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 My dad's name is Ronald. His special talents are yelling at me, selling insurance, and no-selling gunshot wounds.
Guest netslob Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 a drunken, woman-beating shit-bag whom i've never met...which is just as well, because i'd gladly slit the fucker's throat just for the sheer pleasure of watching him slowly bleed to death. and then i'd piss on his corpse.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 So netslob's dad is Norman Smiley too?
Guest netslob Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 well, i could always lie... my old man is a swell guy who gave me lots of candy and puppy dogs. better?
Use Your Illusion Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 No, now he sounds like a child predator.
Nighthawk Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 So that explains why netslob is gay and "respects women".
The Czech Republic Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 My father killed himself when I was 11. Thanks for bringing that up. Oh, like that's common knowledge on the board
Quit Calling My Mama Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 My father is in jail. Haven't seen him in about 12 years and have no intention of ever meeting the fuck.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Hey, get netslob in this thread and then mention Steve Austin.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 My dad's fantastic and spends his free time driving around in a Corvette and cooking lasagna. Sorry about you sad sacks.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 My dad was the definitive message boarder back in the early 90's. He's since retired his persona and begun collecting jazz lps.
Ripper Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 This guy. Pappa was a rolling stone. Where ever he laid his braves hat was his home.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 My old man could be called a Reagan Democrat if it weren't for the fact he hated Reagan...
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 Steve. He looks like a mixture of me and Jerry Garcia. Does CAD stuff designing mundane things like gas station canopies and whirlpool tub inner-workings. He has a couple of websites and goes through weird productive and unproductive phases. Pretty much exactly how I'll end up in thirty years. Building toward a vacation-strewn retirement, living with gout, and a wife who picks out my clothes for me.
1234-5678 Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 My Dad's a 40 hour a week boring salesman who comes home to eat dinner and watch the same shows from 6-8 every night. The only fun times we had together was when the Nitro and Raw were both on and decent in the late 90s, and he let me hold the remote
Nevermortal Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 A man with a lot of connections around the state of Rhode Island. Which isn't saying much, but at least I could get free parking if I had to go downtown.
Twisted Intestine Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 My dad's not exciting... But I think my uncle's in the mafia!
Jingus Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 "Exciting" is not always a good thing. Sometimes, "boring" is much more preferable. (I wasn't kidding when I said my dad no-sold gunshot wounds.)
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 A Executive for a Manufactoring company who pulls in big bank yet spends his weekends customizing cars and racing them. He's a fantastic party host and is known to flirt openly with any girl even in front of my mother yet doesn't sleep around. He is a big family person and loves everyone. Very optimistic yet realistic. Never spoiled me, made the kids "earn" our way through life. Now he is entering his late 40's and easing into the retirement phase where he and my mother plan to settle on a ranch in Montana.
Nighthawk Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 By the way, my old man was a major drug user in the 60s and 70s. He was quite the handsome fella, and even though I'm equally handsome I don't look like him at all. When he got older he looked a lot like John Goodman, and was offered a job as a stand in on Roseanne but turned it down. They used a few of his cars in movies because he drives these old classics. Not because he likes them, because he can buy them cheap. Now he looks a lot like Santa Claus and has remarried a woman with two daughters. I like one of the daughters a lot. I wish she was a couple years older.
Guest HungryJack Posted January 21, 2005 Report Posted January 21, 2005 I don't know my dad. You guys dads sound cool.
