UZI Suicide Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I'm going to say.. Bret Hart(I think he'll finally accept) The Road Warriors Ted Dibiase Bob Backlund Ricky Steamboat Terry Funk I think there's others who could get in(Randy Savage, Jake Roberts, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect among others) but I don't think they're going to throw all the top guys into one year.
Guest news_gimmick Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Heres what I hope for: - Ted Dibiase - Ricky Steamboat - Earthquake - Bob Backlund - Randy Savage - Road Warriors This of course is what I'm hoping for. I think Savage or the Hitman are long shots though.
UZI Suicide Posted March 24, 2005 Author Report Posted March 24, 2005 Ah yeah, I forgot about Earthquake. They'll definitely put him in considering his condition.
Guest JMA Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 - Bret Hart - Owen Hart - Jake Roberts - Randy Savage - The Road Warriors - Bob Backlund - Ricky Steamboat - Ted DiBiase - Terry Funk - Sensational Sherri
IWD Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Ah yeah, I forgot about Earthquake. They'll definitely put him in considering his condition. I was expecting him to be announced for this year. Cheers.
Si82 Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Arn Anderson Ted DiBiase John Tenta Ray Traylor Jake Roberts Randy Savage Ricky Steamboat
King Cucaracha Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 (edited) Ric Flair (I think it'll be 'his' year, ala Hogan.) Arn Anderson JJ Dillon Ricky Steamboat Road Warriors Sting (longshot maybe) Ted DiBiase Ray Traylor EDIT: Obviously, this'd be a 'Flair' list like this year's is Hogan. So you could probably swap Traylor for Hennig, which would make more sense. Edited March 24, 2005 by King Cucaracha
Highland Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Why would Sting be even on the ballot? He never wrestled a day for WWF/E.
natey2k4 Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Ric Flair Ricky Steamboat Ted DiBiase Mr. Perfect Earthquake Arn Anderson The Road Warriors
nl5xsk1 Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Why would Sting be even on the ballot? He never wrestled a day for WWF/E. Vince says that the HOF is for all of wrestling, not just for the WWE/F.
Guest Duncan Eternia Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Road Warriors - DVD coming out this year and Mania in Chicago Ricky Steamboat British Bulldog Ted DiBiase Randy Savage I doubt Jake Roberts will get in anytime soon, mostly due to his personal problems. Backlund would also make a nice addition. But I think five inuductions is enough.
Guest Shadow Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Bret Hart Ted Dibiase Road Warriors Ricky Steamboat Arn Anderson Jim Duggan (they seemingly use a over face mid-carder alot here) Curt Hening Ray Traylor
IWD Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 But I think five inuductions is enough. 1993: 1 inductee 1994: 7 inductees 1995: 7 inductees 1996: 9 inductees 2004: 11 inductees 2005: 7 inductees (presuming there's no more) Why is 5 enough? Cheers.
Guest news_gimmick Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 The only reason I can see that Earthquake wasn't inducted this year is maybe because of the way he is looking with all of his treatment that they didn't want to embarass him or something by doing that. Hopefully by next year he will have recovered and be able to participate.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Ah yeah, I forgot about Earthquake. They'll definitely put him in considering his condition. Quake's prognosis is death by the end of 2005 if not alot sooner, or so I heard.
Guest Shadow Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Tenta made a recovery and is in remission...unless that as well changed.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 If they induct Arn and Flair, why not just induct the Horsemen?
Boner Kawanger Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I think it'd be cool to predict the inductors as well as the inductees. I'll borrow King's list, since it's the one I agree with most. Ric Flair (HHH, no brainer) Arn Anderson (Chris Benoit) JJ Dillon (No idea) Ricky Steamboat (Chris Jericho) Road Warriors (The Dudleys) Sting (Shelton Benjamin) Ted DiBiase (JBL?) Ray Traylor (I'm trying to think of someone who actually had a long-time association and friendship with him)
haws bah gawd Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Ray Traylor (I'm trying to think of someone who actually had a long-time association and friendship with him) Bobby Heenan is the only person I can think of, but they had a heated feud in the early 90's, so I dont know if WWE would want to protect kayfabe there or not.
Vern Gagne Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 They don't care about kayfabe in that situation. Just a feeling Austin will go in next year. Chicago was the site of the double turn, and skyrocketed Austin into super stardom.
Slickster Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Ooh, I forgot about the significance of Chicago to Austin (WM13). In that case: Steve Austin Hawk Animal Arn Anderson Rick Martel Curt Hennig Ted DiBiase Mr. Fuji Davey Boy Smith
Guest Shadow Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I think it'd be cool to predict the inductors as well as the inductees. I'll borrow King's list, since it's the one I agree with most. Ray Traylor (I'm trying to think of someone who actually had a long-time association and friendship with him) Actually for Dibiase, HBK would be a likely possibility. Heenan would be a great choice for Traylor. Heenan should just do one every year no matter what. Actually, I don't think Flair will actually retire amazingly enough and likely will still be managing HHH come WMXXII but i could see him inducting Steamboat or flair or sting.
Vern Gagne Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Screw the fact that Flair isn't officially retired. He's Ric Flair for christ sakes, put him in the Hall of Fame.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 My Dream Class of 2006: Elizabeth (Inducted by Lex Luger and Randy Savage) Ricky Steamboat (Inducted by George "The Animal" Steele) Bret Hart (Inducted by Shawn Michaels) Mr. Perfect/Curt Hennig (Inducted by Bobby Heenan) Dusty Rhodes (Inducted by Ric Flair) Sting (Inducted by Big Van Vader) The Great Muta (Inducted by Tajiri)
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 My Dream Class of 2006: Elizabeth (Inducted by Lex Luger and Randy Savage) Ricky Steamboat (Inducted by George "The Animal" Steele) Bret Hart (Inducted by Shawn Michaels) Mr. Perfect/Curt Hennig (Inducted by Bobby Heenan) Dusty Rhodes (Inducted by Ric Flair) Sting (Inducted by Big Van Vader) The Great Muta (Inducted by Tajiri) I see three inductions that may end with fighting. HBK: Now Bret was always a crybaby an a coward but at least he had some sunny days. Lex Luger: So I said to Liz, "Do you think you should be drinking that much?" Flair: Folks, this goes to show, what a morbidly obese man with a limited move set and lots of charisma can accomplish.
Guest Tjhe CyNick Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 They have to save some of the upper level guys for years down the road. I think next year's main guys should be Flair and LOD, I would probably also throw in Funk, and a few others (guys on Volkoff's level) I agree with keeping Savage and Stemboat off until 07. Bret should have his own year, if its ever going to happen, and if it is, it should be donte in Canada. If and when that happens I would induct other guys with the Calgary connection like Davey, Hennig, and Owen if he's getting in.
