This is simple and just for fun's sake. What do some predict the card for next year's event will be. This could include what some would do if they had the book. The HOF prediction thread was interesting. Maybe there will be a Chicago connection there(Bret Hart and Austin although highly unlikely they would blw their wad by inducting both men). This year had the WM 1 theme. With the way things are I can only see Triple H being in one of the championship matches obviously.

Probally a Orton(champ) vs. HHH(face) main event for Raw

Smackdown, I could see Show(champ) vs. whoever jumps from Raw(Benoit or Jericho)

Yup....one sure can dream cant they? Saddly two of these predictions can be crushed this Sunday (Jericho winning the ladder match & Takers winning Streak)

WMXX. The day after ManiaXIX, not a SOUL had thought Eddy Guerrero and Chris Benoit would collectively "Main Event". The day after XX, no one had JBL and Batistia figured to be Main eventers.

 

WMXX were main evented by participates in a Multiple Man match,(benoit and Guerrero) at the previous mania and WMXXI will have JBL and Batistia who also competed in multiple man matches last year. That would point the new pattern apprently to mean two people in the ladder match will collectively main event.

 

Triple H will main event one of them. no question about it. HHH/Jericho isnt happening and either is HHH/Kane. Realistically, HHH Vs Benjamin would be the way to go. I'd have Jericho as a heel main event the other side.

Benoit and Eddy "main evented" the next Mania.

 

WMXX had Bradshaw in a 4 way tag title match(as APA Vs WGTT Vs Rikishi/s2h vs Bashams) and Batistia was in the handicap tag match(with flair and orton vs rocknsock).

 

What i was saying was that there's a pattern of people involved in mutiple man matches main eventing the next mania.

 

The Ladder Match is the only multiple man match. I.E if they continue this completely coicidential pattern, two of those six men will presumably Main event WM22.

 

How hard was that to follow?

Well since the people in this match are Benoit, Jericho, Benjiman, Edge, Christian & Kane you can be almost sure that one of them will main event the next mania.

There isn't any pattern at all, the last 2 are just a coincidence.

 

At WM X-8, Billy & Chuck v. The Dudley Boyz v. The APA v. The Hardy Boyz was the tag title match... nobody in that match main evented WM XIX

 

At WM X-7 had the TLC2 match - The Dudley Boyz v. Edge & Christian v. The Hardy Boyz...neither man main evented WM X-8. That match also happened at WM 2000.

When was this? XVIII? He was heel then, wasn't he?

XIX: Heel

XVII: Didn't main event.

2000: Heel

XV: Didn't main event

 

I could be wrong, but i don't think he ever was a face and in the main event at Wrestlemania.

He's refering to X8 against Jericho where he played the returning hero to reclaim his prize and beat his ex-wifes slaveboy whom may very well go down as the weakest long term(meaning a champ with a reign longer then a month) since Ronnie Garvin.

 

Bombed live with the crowd as Hogan Vs Rock overshadowed it and as a angle and maybe among the top 5 forgettable main events of all time.

If I were to guess now, I would say Orton/Cena from SD and HHH/Flair on RAW.

In all honesty, I will say Triple H Vs Shelton Benjamin(raw) and Jericho-Cena(Smackdown)
