Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Man, the Dodgers' pen better not blow this thing. I'm surprised Perez got pulled. Pitched excellently and only had thrown 79 pitches.
Big McLargeHuge 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Christ the Giants suck. I need to follow a new team. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about the Marlins. Young team. Exciting. Great pitching. Good offense.

I really didn't like them putting in Duaner Sanchez either, and it nearly cost them.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Just got back from the A's game. $1 hot dog night, and it sure came in use for my group of seven friends. Limit 10 per order....LOL. A's win 6-2. They finally get some KEY HITS that drive in runs.
ISportsFan 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 I didn't get a chance to comment on it last night, but the White Sox are winning so far exactly as they said they would. 5-4 win in 10 innings after Jose Contreras pitched very inconsistently to start the game (giving up a run in the first inning without giving up a hit, for example). Sacrifice fly to win the game by Juan Uribe. That makes the Sox 6-2 overall and 4-0 in one run games. This is the best start for the White Sox since 1991. Once again I will say, I'll enjoy it while it lasts. And it's especially sweet so far considering that a lot of experts picked both Cleveland and Minnesota to finish ahead of Chicago, but the White Sox have just won three series over these two teams to start the season. Is it way too early to celebrate? Yeah, but it's just a little fufilling to see them play hard through 8 games. Jason
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 FUCK! I'm so tired of Yankees vs Redsox. Guess whats on ESPN right now? If I didn't know any better I'd swear the only three teams playing today are NYY, Boston, and the Washington Nationals.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted April 14, 2005 So we are at a total of 1 so far on the "fucked up calls" tonight, with Womack clearly being safe at first, but being called out anyway.
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Johnny Damon made up fot it.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Eh... I'm glad he finally fucked up, since every time he's on the opposing team in ESPN 2K5 (I think he's on the Yankees thanks to a weird draft), he does that fucking catch at least 3 times per game. Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted April 14, 2005 Is ESPN going to air anything but Yankees/Sawx soon? I know next week is a few TBA games, but when they did that this week, all 3 games were NYY/Bos.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2005 Interesting story: Apr 13 FOXSports.com reports San Francisco Giants OF Moises Alou, then with the Chicago Cubs, urinated on his hands in an attempt to heal calluses and blisters. KingPK 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2005 Yeah, that story came out after the '03 season, I believe. This is the last Yanks/Sox game until the end of May. Then they don't play until right after the All-Star break.
mike546 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2005 Red Sox fans have no right to complain about the phantom tag in the 99 ACLS ever again.

mike546 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2005 This RJ performance so har has been frustrating. He defintley has good stuff tonight, just two huge mistakes. Has he always been HR happy?
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2005 Crybaby Boston Fans chanting because the umpire made the right call and their hitting coach is bitching about something. Really? Even the YES announcers couldn't figure out how the pitch was a ball.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted April 15, 2005 It was high, and Arroyo isn't the type of pitchers you don't give breaks to like that. Sutcliffe (or whoever is with Berman) said that a few times while there was almost a fight.

mike546 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2005 These YES announcers are retarded. Is it me, or was the guy just trying to slap his hand on the padding in celebration?
Guest OSIcon Report post Posted April 15, 2005 Of course, ESPN has yet to even mention Sheffield (well, they just did). The fan was wrong (like in the Artest thing), but Sheffield didn't need to retaliate.

Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2005 I had a bad feeling when they brought Gordon in, and sure enough..... I know it's the "in" thing to hate on Mo right now, but I feel 100x less secure with Flash out there against Boston. Why couldn't they use F-Rod? TWO ON NO OUTS! DO THIS SHIT!
