Guest Sturgis Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 Although his parents have made it clear to him there are no such things as ghosts, Butters is sure one is haunting him. Butters knows he has to give up his ghost pal or be put into a mental institution.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 Since it's Cartman, I have a small feeling that this one might turn out a bit like AWESOME-O.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 I saw a preview and it looks like the Butters and Cartman stories are seperate, but I'm sure the stories will be tied together at some point. I'm trying think what issue or parody this episode could be based on. The only thing I can think of are the recent ghost movies.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 I thought I heard Butters say "I'm seeing dead people" or something very similar. Also: What, no addition of Con in the thread? Oh wait, it sucks.
Gary Floyd Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 My guess...it's all somehow a trick by Cartman to get back at Butters for the Awesome-O episode. Also: What, no addition of Con in the thread? Oh wait, it sucks. Con=Worst thing on Comedy Central since "Don't Forget Your Toothbrush" though the latter show at least had a great title.
haws bah gawd Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 I started a thread about Con a little further down the thread page here. Seems it didn't go over too well with anyone else here either. Last week's episode restored my faith in Trey and Matt, so I hope they can keep it up with another good show this week.
razazteca Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Are they going to continue with Cartman's quest for $1 million dollars, being gay, hating joos, looking for his real parent(s)?
Guest El Satanico Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 He got his money and opened a theme park. He found his parents, Miss Cartman is both his mother and father.
razazteca Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 But everytime there was a swerve and never had closure to any of the angles involving Cartman.
BlackFlagg Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 He got his money and opened a theme park. He found his parents, Miss Cartman is both his mother and father. Mrs. Cartman's the father, they don't know who the mother is
Guest El Satanico Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 I could've swore that they said Miss Cartman was his mother and father.
BlackFlagg Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 I could've swore that they said Miss Cartman was his mother and father. She's a Hermaphrodite, they have both sexual organs but only one actually works....So one can't get oneself pregnant. ...and at the end of the episode they do the "Who's Cartman's mother, is it.." and Cartman just yells "Ahh Forget it!" or something along those lines.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 I'm aware that it's not possible in real life, but that doesn't mean anything for South Park.
BlackFlagg Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 I'm aware that it's not possible in real life, but that doesn't mean anything for South Park. I believe it was eplained that way in the episode when Stan or Kyle make a comment about her being his mom and dad....I forget exactly, been a bit since I watched that episode.
Ravenbomb Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 *MARKS THE GIANT ASS-FUCK OUT FOR SCOTT TENORMEN!!!*
BlackFlagg Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 here we go.. Mephesto: I'm glad you could all come. I can finally reveal who the father of Eric Cartman is. But first, I want to thank Kenny McCormick for sacrificing his life.... Cartman: Just tell us already!!! Mephesto: All right, all right. The father of Eric Cartman is.... Say, did anybody see that Terrance and Phillip special last month? Wasn't that just the funniest thing? Cartman: Damn it tell me who my father is!!!!!!! Mephesto: Sorry, as I said before, the father is somebody in this room. The father is...Mrs. Cartman. [Gasp] Chef: What? Mrs. Cartman: Yes, it's true. Mr. Garrison: No, that doesn't make sense. Mephesto: Yes, it took quite a while for me to understand as well. You see, Mrs. Cartman is a hermaphrodite. Mr. Garrison: Meaning what? Mephesto: Meaning she has both male and female genitals. Mrs. Cartman: It's true. Chef: You mean, at the Drunken Barn Dance, when we all got together with her, she was a he? Mephesto: No, no, not exactly. But she did have a penis. All of the men throw up. Mephesto: The fact of the matter is, hermaphrodites cannot bear children, so Ms. Cartman's DNA match with Eric can only meant that she is his father, and she got another woman pregnant at the Drunken Barn Dance. Cartman: Eh, man, this is fucking weak. Stan: Dude, you're a big fat ass, and your mom is a hermapholite. Mrs. Cartman: I'm sorry I never told you Eric. I just thought maybe it would be a little shocking to you. Cartman: Oh well, geewhiz, you think so mom. Mephesto: Well, that's that. Thank you all for playing. Cartman: No no, wait a minute. If, if she's my dad, then who's my mom? Announcer: Who is Eric Cartman's mother? Is it Mrs. Crabtree, Sheila Broslofski, the mayor? Cartman: Ahh, forget it.
Guest jumpingbombangel Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Damn I just realized how much I liked "Christian Hard Rock" just from this episode and Cartman's singing. I was wondering if we'd ever see Scott Tenorman again. Oh, good times, this show!
Ravenbomb Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 I loved how he "atoned" for all the obscenely horrible stuff he did by giving them fruit baskets
Mik Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Awwww....hamburgers. Butters is my favorite character.
Gary Floyd Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Awwww....hamburgers. Butters is my favorite character. Ya just gotta feel bad for the guy "Leave me alone Cartman! My bottom hurts!"
Guest netslob Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 i feel bad for him because his parents are complete assholes. "Butters, stop having nightmares right now, or your grounded!" "I don't know what to do...should we call the doctor or ground him?" "No, you better call the doctor...I'll ground him."
Guest Fook Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 "Don't worry Butters. There's nothing to be afraid of...except SuperAIDS."
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Had some laughs but a pretty weak episode overall. This season has been very hit or miss for me. I loved the three before this one, but the other three, including the hippie episode which so many seem to love, I just thought were kinda bland.
AboveAverage484 Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Yeah, but it makes fun of hippies, so it rules by default.
Modern Man's Hustle Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 "Maybe you're supposed to go to heck...." "...Butters, I'm not Black, I'm not going to hell."
kkktookmybabyaway Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Had some laughs but a pretty weak episode overall. Felt the same way, too. Wonder if they'll carry Cartman's anger at Butters over into future episodes. How many more are left in this run anyway?...
{''({o..o})''} Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Only 7 episodes this run due to scheduling.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 Does that include the fall episodes?...
