LessonInMachismo Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I think it would be interesting to see where we all show up on the map. I wound up at (7, 3). http://politicalcompass.org/
JHawk Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 (-3, -2.36) Libertarian left, apparently. Like Gandhi
CanadianGuitarist Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I'm genuinely flattered. I'm in the same spot as Mandela and Gandhi.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I hate this test and tests like it as they always stereotype too much. Just because I'm pro business doesn't mean I want to have all the poor in the country murdered.
Guest Cerebus Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Is this the 3rd time we've had this thing?
CanadianChris Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Is this the 3rd time we've had this thing? 5th, I think.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Is this the 3rd time we've had this thing? It usually pops up around this time every year.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I already told LIM about him bringing this back from the dead. Oh, yeah. pm...
kkktookmybabyaway Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Interesting. I went a bit farther right this time -- 2.75, 0.36. It should be noted I almost never answer "strongly" and very rarely will agree with a statement that has "always." LOL -- I'm a bigger commie than Tony Blair...
Jingus Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 The test is oversimplified shite. There are way too many questions where I didn't feel comfortable with the wording or I felt there was no correct answer. As usual, I ended up being Gandhi again.
therealworldschampion Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 4.38, 4.51 - I guess I'm still an evil white man...
Special K Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I'm libertarian right. Which apparently, no one else on the face of the planet is. Social left, economic right. Neither too much.
Rob E Dangerously Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Your political compass Economic Left/Right: -3.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.85 Hmm.. I think i've tested more to the right, but i've been on the Libertarian side of this too
Masked Man of Mystery Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I got (-6.88, -5.44), which looks about right as I consider myself to be a socialist who desn't care what people do with their spare time as long at it isn't illegal
Crimson Platypus Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 3.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.44 Pretty much what I expected.
Guest MikeSC Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 3.13, -0.05. Not sure why the fuck I should care. -=Mike
Dimensions Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Your political compass Economic Left/Right: -4.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.90 Is that bad?
Red Baron Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Economic Left/Right: -3.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.97
Dr. Tom Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 2.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.44 About the same as before, IIRC. The scores might have changed a bit, but I'm still solidly in the Friedman quadrant.
2GOLD Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 My results: ERROR: Page not found I stumped the Compass. It's like stumping the Schwabb, only even less entertaining.
cbacon Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Economic Left/Right: -7.12 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.18
Ted the Poster Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 ^Well, who didn't see that coming. -4.63/-1.13 for me.
cbacon Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Here's another one You are a Social Liberal (78% permissive) and an... Economic Liberal (18% permissive) You are best described as a: Socialist You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness
Guest Brian Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Can someone just make a thread with all these tests and put it in General Chat or something?
Ted the Poster Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 It should be legal for two consenting adults to challenge each other to a duel and fight a Death Match. THUNDERDOME~! It's wrong when environmental regulation puts people out of work, like when limits on logging make it harder for loggers to log logs. That test said I was a moderate permissive in both categories, and a centrist. I've gotta stop taking these before I blow someone's brains out due to my own insanity.
MARTYEWR Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Your political compass Economic Left/Right: -2.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.33 A bit left of what I expected, but still in the ballpark of what I usually score with these things.
