I will continue to pimp HBK superkicking Shelton Benjamin in the middle of a top rope springboard as an awesome finish to a super hot match...

oh, and take that goddamn video of Jordan dunking on Patrick Ewing off your avatar dammit! :P

More recent, but the ending to the Michaels/Benjamin match from this past Monday's Raw.

Also...the at the time original, now slightly overused ending to the Hart/Piper Intercontinental Championship match from WrestleMania VIII.

Yes, that Shelton bump is what created this thread. Still one of the illest I've seen. No matter what angle you look at it, it's still crazy. No way that didn't hurt a little bit.

Oh and I can't, sorry. Respect the GOAT. :)

Yes, Jordan did rip the heart out of many Knick fans.

Oh and if you get the Stark dunk, I will be forced to bring out the Pippen over Ewing with the ice grill at the end "What up now nigga"

It wasn't the finish, but Knoble's DDT on Kidman at SSeries where Kidman was sitting on the top rope was sick.

One comes to mind from a match i recently watched, Stan Hansen vs Kenta Kobashi from 4/16/93, Kobashi dives off the second turnbuckle and is just KILLED by the Western Lariat in mid-air. Awesome, even by Stan Hansen Lariat standards.

Raven/Saturn v Kidman/Rey v Benoit/Malenko

Kidman's on the top rope, Raven gets him in a headlock and pulls him back, so Kidman's shins are draped on the top rope and he's completely horizontal, Raven proceeds to evenflow the SHIT of of Kidman.

Misawa/Kawada Tiger Driver '91 comes to mind

I also liked the the finish of Daniels/Dragon from ROH Round Robin: Daniels has been destroying Dragon's neck. Dragon gets the Cattle Mutilation, but can't put it on properly because he can't bridge because of his busted up neck. Daniels then puts away this guy who's supposedly the mat wrestling God of ROH with a simple crossface, because his neck is just so hurt.

Does anyone have a gif or link for the Benjamin/Michaels finish that everyone's raving about? I didn't watch Raw and thus haven't seen ... but am wicked curious to check it out, since all I've heard is how sick it is.

The last two minutes or so are on WWE.com. Just click on Raw, click on Results, and look for the clip of HBK/Benjamin.

It was actually Summerslam '91... but yeah, I totally marked-out at that.

I remember marking out huge to this though.

Kevin Nash is about to deliever the Jacknife to Rey and Rey countered it with a Hurricanarana to end the match.

Though not really spectacular, it was damn cool to see.

Orton/RVD from RAw Jan 04. RVD is on the top rope, Orton gets this crazy look on his face and just proceeds to ddt the hell out of rvd. looked brutal.

malenko on scotty was the most brutal.

wm 14, sweet chin music, austin ducks, goes for the stunner, shawn blocks, goes for the kick, austin ducks, kick wham stunner.

orton reversing the pedigree to the rko at survivor series 04 was a decent finish.

perhaps the funniest was summerslam 01, booker t hits the scissors kick, goes for spinaroonie, gets up dancing, turns around right into the rock bottom for the three.

I'll be damned if I ever saw Kevin Nash take a rana.

I remember the finish, Rey actually simply fell on top of Nash and hooked the leg after punching him a few times. In a clever bit of booking, Rey was put over the heavyweights, only to have Nash himself end that little streak. What a guy.

Rock and Mankind "double People's Elbow" to Big Show to win tag team titles in 1999. First time ever and beautiful.

I saw this live so I'll vote for it. My seats sucked (I was almost behind the Titan Tron in the last row of the balcony at the Fleetcenter) but it was a cool finish. I still have the Road Dogg shirt I bought that night somewhere.

One of my favorites was the week after Rey Jr. started his "giant killer" gimmick. Rey was wrestling Scott Norton and just getting destroyed in ever sense of the word. Norton went for a move that I cant really remember, but Rey kicked him square in the balls for the win. The look on Norton's face made the spot for me.

Ultimo Dragon vs. Psychosis (Uncensored 97): Ultimo hits a running powerbomb, a top rope DDT, and a tiger suplex in rapid succession for the win.

Meng vs. Chris Benoit (Slamboree 97): Benoit goes for the top rope headbutt and appears to connect, but actually got caught in the tongan death grip and passed out seconds later.

TLC 0 (Wrestlemania 2000): E/C are on a makeshift platform (table propped up on two ladders) with Matt Hardy. Edge just throws Matt off through another table that completely shatters on impact, while E/C grab the belts.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit (Royal Rumble 03): After an excellent back-and-forth match, Kurt debuts the "never say die" ankle lock and forces Benoit to tap.

Chris Benoit vs. HHH vs. HBK (Wrestlemania 20): Benoit locks in the crossface on HHH who inches towards the ropes, but Benoit rolls back to the middle of the ring for the dramatic tap out.

How could I forget this one? That was one of the most well booked ending sequences I've ever seen. You could just feel Kurt about to tap to the Crossface. You knew it was coming, and Benoit would finally get his long overdue World title. Then Kurt rolls through, and locks in the Ankle lock, Benoit rolls through again into the Crossface, and the crowd is about to fucking DIE. Benoit had Angle's number, and Angle was seconds from tapping. Then Kurt seemingly said fuck this, and rolled through the Crossface again, into the Ankle lock, and then grapevined his legs around Benoit so there was no way Benoit was going anywhere, and he was finally forced to tap. Benoit got one of the most well-deserved standing ovations from a crowd, ever, for this.
