AmericanDragon 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 I'm surprised that no one on this board has commented on the Arrested Development reference on American Dad. The son doing George Micheal's "getting rejected by a girl" sad walk home. American Dad was referencing Charlie Brown too? I probably wasn't paying attention. The Ill One 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 Chicken versus Peter Round II, the fan self-control, and the ending made the episode. Not too bad.
Mik 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 No one referenced the best part of FG. After God burns down the bar... God: JESUS CHRIST! Jesus: Yes? God: Get the Escalade, we're out of here. I couldn't stop laughing after that.

Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 was there some sort of relevance to Judd Nelson, or was it just random hilarity?

Ripper 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 I found it funny that Jesus drove a Escalade. And finally someone said something about Bonnie and the baby. Stewie kicking the chair in front of peter had me laughing too. "I wasn't gonna do it...I wasn't gonna do it...." And Peter living with superman...GOLD~! Slayer 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 FG was allright, but the continual change of plot throughout the episode reminded me too much of The Simpsons' more recent non sequitir style. That's not a good thing, by the way I thought AD was better than FG last night ("blaspheme!") Was it me or was Patrick Stewart playing Stan's coworker?
Ripper 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 I think it was. The thing that made me laugh out loud was the two coworkers realizing that stan had forgotten his anniversary again and the patrick stewart guy telling the other guy not to say anything.
Guest Olympic Slam Report post Posted May 16, 2005 Family Guy seemed really loud and annoying this week. Not good. Anyone else getting sick of pop-culture references? Cause I am
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 So is the deal with American Dad that it has different guest stars as CIA co-workers? I was happy to hear Stephen Root in the first episode but apparently that was it. Now Patrick Stewart was all up in there. I don't know of this is considered spoiling so I'll just play it safe According to the episode guide on TVTome, Family Guy has a 3 episode story arc starting in 2 weeks. A review I read of last night's episode stated how great the show has been and "they haven't even got to the movie episodes yet". Would the 3 parter be the DVD movie that was intended before a whole season got picked up?
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 AD was also good last night IMO. Actually the whole 2 hours on FOX last night was very good. The simpsons eps, while not excellent had their moments. and all and all I was entertained for two hours, so thats all that matters to me.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2005 I take it I'm the only person that watches and enjoys KOTH since most people only talk about the 2 hour block between 8 and 10, ignoring that KOTH exists too. But then again, Fox ignored the show's existence almost all this season and it was a surprise to me that it's even coming back next season (albeit what will probably end up the final one). mister foozel 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2005 Some good news. don't know if anyone has said this yet, but it doesn't really matter about the ratings Fox says, because they're basing shows on DVD revenue now
Adam 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2005 Episode 3 was great, the God appearances, Gary the No-Trash Cougar, as well as theSuperman thing. I liked it much better than number 2 with the hot teacher.
