Congrats to Ejiro. I haven't had time to read anything except the fact that I lost, but to be honest I was expecting it. The momentum was behind him storyline-wise, and I wasn't happy with my match anyway, particularly after I read his promo.

I'd just like to make a public apology for clogging up the top of the card for the last 8 months or so, most of which time I have spent holding other people down. Won't happen again :P

RUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~!

"Men like Aja Kong?"

And, in other news... yes, the suspense is killing me. Allow me please to make one small request for future booking consideration, win lose or draw: the next time you want to book me in a TLC match for a non-PPV show... don't; that was utterly painful, and the short timeframe took all the joy out of trying to write it.

Well, I guess writing a match completely different from J&R's TLC Match (at least, I assume they wrote it) might not have been the best idea after all. :P

Uhm, yeah, congrats to Ejiro and stuff.

*waits nervously*

Tremendous congrats to Ejiro~! I'm pretty damn excited to read that TLC match too, rest of the comments will come when the show gets totally posted.

There's doing everything to win and then there is bending the other guy's finger back as far as possible. :) Man that was a fun match to write, although its going to be a little hard to make sure the fans still like him cause Ejiro is kicking people square in the knee now.

Thing I like about it most was that it was 'shooty' in the absolutely most worked sense that you can think about where Ejiro was just doing stuff you almost never see in a wrestling ring... but you could and it could be worked so that Toxxic actually wouldn't suffer any real afterefects. Now we just need to figure out a good gimmick match for the next showdown between the two...

*cough*scaffold match*cough*

The opening promo was great. Everything else was teh suq. In all seriousness, Buck and Pretz go to a no-decision in a very solid match. I actually got a somewhat complete match in, without cutting spots to make the deadline for once. But apparently my promo didn't send...

Anyway, Pretz is like the WWE. Taking real life things and turning them into promos~! Finally, Ejiro's match used some interesting ideas and concepts that I would have probably commented about in full later, but he already pointed it out.

I'm the king of the No Post match.

BOW DOWN!

The ME rocked my cabeza. Pretzler/Buck was solid all the way. If only my matches would get put up...

Alas.

Hey! Ejiro had me announced from BIRMINGHAM! I claim a win by default!

...no, but seriously. An EXCELLENT match, and basically had all the fire that was missing from mine. The basic premise of mine was that Ejiro was trying to control himself from getting caught in a brawl, where Toxxic would have the advantage, whereas Ejiro had himself winning these fights. I also worked on the right arm for the Repeat To Fade, so he had to use the left hand for the chain shot (which occurred right after the ref had removed an illegal chair!) and it wasn't enough. He also couldn't hold the Cobra Crossface for quite long enough to do the job.

Oh, one other thing - the headbutt was sold as devastating in mine - I used it once, and it set Ejiro up for the Inglorious for the win. Damn Japanese-Americans, no-selling my strikes... :P

Anyway, Pretz is like the WWE. Taking real life things and turning them into promos~!

Ouch! Surely there is a nicer way of putting it than that...

Anyway, I'm too lazy to post a lot of comments, but I'd like to say that the main event was one of the best matches I've read since arriving here. Sooooo intense - my heart was actually pounding in my chest, as much as it embarasses me to admit it. Funny how just last night I was talking about how matches should have more finger work...

And the opening promo was sheer brilliance.

And yes, men like Aja Kong.

Hey, I like the E and you should too!* Seriously, the TLC match must be really hard to mark considering, so don't get pissed at Judge. Or if you're pissed at Judge channel that anger and write comments about how great the opening promo was.

*Is propaganda and should be treated as such, even though I really do like the WWE.

Hey, hush. It took a while, but it's up now. Sorry for the delay, but trying to read those at 1 AM is just takes too much concentration that's available to my tired mind. Post the losers and I'll try to get my comments out. They all were very good, which is another reason why I waited so long to edit them in.

Congrats to Martial Law on winning the Tag Team Titles... we'll be back, though, so shine those belts up nice for us... :P

Since I'm not booked for Smarkdown, I'll probably do an extended review and/or HOLT report tonight (my time) or tomorrow (my time).

And I think Johnny and I now own the dubious distinction of having lost more TLC matches than any other team in SWF history.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Australia, Muzz dances a jig, knowing that Divefire's record is safe for another four months...

Yeah, but there's only been about three.

Still...yeah, pretty surprised to win actually. But...yeah, very glad too, I'll be honest. And I'm sure Todd is too, seeing as he wrote part too, obviously. It took me over a year, but I finally got those belts off you guys, so yay me (and Todd, obviously). :P

And screw Muzz, I'm dancing because MY records are safe.

You'd better hope that you can talk Johnny into retiring then, because if we get the belts back, all we have to do is defend them successfully once, and that record's history... and you've still never pinned me, young'n... :P

Seriously though, big ups on finally winning the Tag Titles; I think that puts you one belt short of the cycle, doesn't it? Personally, I would have much rather seen Royal stick around long enough for the House of Todd to win the titles first, but that's just because I marked hard for that team.

Or that Fuvolution isn't echoed in 'real' life, and me and Janus form a gay tag team.

And the predicted timescale of them removing all those nasty slugs from Mr. Banks? Probably about as long as it's gonna take for Sean Davis' foot to heal, I reckon.
