I agree on Angle as well, but it'd be after the whole ECW PPV and what not. Let Masters take out a couple more actual wrestlers first. Then Angle breaks it, but Masters then challenges him for the gold medals. If they are serious about pushing this bum might as well do something that would already make sense.

Well, for some unknown reason, I think it might be Val Venis. He's the only one that they have actually let attempt to break it, and I think they might be building on that. Or, it was simply Masters being made to look even stronger by making a valid WWE superstar not be able to break the hold.

 

I'm going to say at the moment, Venis. Because let's face it, anyone besides Richards would just be being thrown at us anyways, because Chris really doesn't have a past with anyone but Stevie.

I seriously have no idea who might break it...maybe Viscera? I really hope not, but I could see them going with him, seeing how he's big and has been getting a push lately. I figure it might be some new guy from OVW, but I haven't kept up with who might be coming up soon.

 

I'm thinking it will be during or after the draft...maybe someone like Heidenreich comes over to RAW and challenges Masters, and ends up breaking the hold. Or maybe Tyson Tomko turns face after Christian goes to Smackdown? Not really exciting possibilities, but they _have_ been doing a good job building this finisher as being credible, at least, so when someone does break it, it will be something of a big deal.

 

On a side note...what was the deal with Masters beating Stevie last week? He injures the guy, and then gets to basically squash him again? At least the match was half decent...it seemed like they were kind of being stiff with each other, but maybe I was just imagining things.

Have they made it credible? Last time I checked he was still facing jobbers, plants and Val/Stevie level wrestlers, who won't made anything credible because they're seen by the crowd as just named job guys.

I believe the plan is for Tank Toland or another one of the OVW guys to break his masterlock and for them to have a nice program. Might be pretty good since masters has worked with the OVW guys often enough to have a good match/feud.
