Dimensions Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter -- Sean Conaway was Stephanie McMahon's favorite member of the WWE creative team. He has a reputation for befriending wrestlers, just to figure out what their real opinions of WWE management are, then ratting them out to Stephanie. Conaway, along with a few other production assistants, were in the same bar that Orlando Jordan and JBL happened to be in after a show one night. JBL and Jordan decided to get some revenge on Conaway, and challenged him to a drinking contest, which lead to much more. Conaway lost the contest and began to walk away, however Jordan told him he couldn't quit, so he kept on drinking. Conaway passed out in his room, and Orlando Jordan went in and ordered gay pornography on his room bill without him knowing. Conaway, who was still passed out, ended up completely missing his flight for RAW that night. Conaway ended up lying to Stephanie McMahon about it, telling her that he was detained by airport security, and that was what caused him to miss the flight. She understood, and there were no issues. The next night at the Smackdown tapings, JBL and Jordan told other wrestlers the negative stories about Conaway from that Sunday night. Not only did they tell the wrestlers, but they also interrupted the production meeting before Smackdown, which was attended by Vince and Stephanie McMahon, to tell the story about what happened. As a result, Stephanie McMahon found out that Conaway had completely lied to her about why he missed raw, and needless to say, is furious. On top of that, now management knows about the other negative stories, and has probably gotten word about those extra expenses on his hotel bill as well.

Hopefully OJ gets fired for this, as he obviously was under orders from JBL. And that woudl be funny. OJ is tall, green, and was trained by Rocky Johnson. They're not firing him for this. Maybe JBL ended up watching the gay porn?

This is more intresting then half the stuff they are doing right now. I can just picture Jordan ordering a gay porno while this guy is passed out. This guy, is consistently pushed by WWE, and he continues to pull the most childish, assholish pranks backstage, and nothing ever happens to the guy. No reprimand, no slap on the hand, not even a simple tongue-lashing, and this guy he decided to bully is going to take all the punishment. JBL, who is supposed to be an adult, acts like nothing more than a 10-year old school yard bully, and I continue to have zero respect for him. Sure, there are 2 sides to every story, and Conaway was a backstabbing jackass for doing that spy crap for Stephanie McMahon, but something has to be done about JBL as well. At least kill this god-like push he has been getting for over a year, and/or de-push OJ for his role in this.

I mean, it's obvious by now...the WWE is purely a 'locker room'. Not exactly a business..the business portion is left up to, well the business guys. Should the wrestlers not be able to have fun? And believe it or not, some people find pranks to be fun. (Hell...thinking about it, what else can they do? :/) Edit- Ok, after reading the spoilers, so he is on top >_>. But once again, yea...on a business that's been known to be based around ribs, how can you punish someone for doing one? That's just not fair. Half the things that people get punished for, that people complain about, aren't ribs..(ie. The Rhyno thing) but this is one..he shouldn't be punished for it.
