I just beat Portal. That game was wonderful. It's very short and relatively easy, but the concept is executed so well and the game just has this amazing atmosphere. It's definitely the best first-person comedy puzzle game I've played.

Name another game in the genre.

The commercials for the new slim PSP...JESUS CHRIST whoever green lighted those pieces of shit needs to be fired. And possibly beaten. How in the blue hell are these supposed to sell the system?

You're saying you don't want your own annoying ass white boy hanging over your shoulder bugging the shit out of you while you're trying to play your games?

Is it wrong of me to want to blow money on a R.O.B. from the old NES days only to appease the part of me that's still kicking myself for not buying the one at Game Craze a decade ago when they had one for sale?

Yeah, that was the joke. Good work Detective.

Well you could do that, or you could wait for Sam Beckett to Quantum Leap into your body to put right a wrong that happened within his life time.

Another question, this time about ripping songs to the Xbox. Am I the only one that finds that some songs just won't work?

And I have no idea why...I could see if there were certain file types that weren't allowed or something, but I've just tried to rip two songs, off of the same CD, (Both are mp3 format) one worked, while the other one didn't. And even after repeated tries, I can't get it to burn this song, it just gives me the error symbol. Anyone know the possible reason for this?

Hmm...as I post this, it works :/. But still, is there a real reason for the constant errors?

Alright, now this is a question I needed answered, and I haven't had a great deal of success thus far. HOW do you rip music onto your 360 harddrive? Preferrably using a USB drive? Maybe I'm clueless, but I don't know where to go on the Dashboard to do that.

The only way to get music onto your hard drive is to rip CD's.

Okay, I'll assume that's true. My issue is how to do it from there. When I inserted my USB drive, I didn't see any option to copy the files from the USB drive to my 360 harddrive. That was using a USB drive, though - I haven't tried it with a CD. If I insert a CD, will it automatically give me the option to rip the music from the disc?

Cause that's my problem. I don't know what I need to do on the 360 to move the files from whatever storage media - a DVD, a CD, a USB drive, etc. - onto the harddrive.

You just pop in the CD, and it will automatically start playing. Under the player there will be the option of "Rip CD". That simple.

Although I still can't seem to find out why sometimes a song will work, and sometimes it won't...

I was playing Fire Pro 2 today, and I got an 88% in a lucha style match with Hayabusa and RICK RUDE. It was actually a really awesome match. Hayabusa pinned Rude with a standing moonsautl.

Oh dear, Kane & Lynch is pretty poor by today's standards. If I had paid for this game, I would have been pretty pissed, however, I got a free promo copy from work, so I shouldn't complain too much. It feels and plays like it was made for the PS2.

That's too bad, it seems like it'd be cool.

I'm in the process of cataloging my video game collection now. I have 49 SNES games, 25 for the 64 and a dozen dreamcast games. I am holding off on my Master System and NES games...those will take a while

Well, I mean, if you get the chance to play it, play it, but don't pay over the odds for it. I'm not sure if its because I'm a phase of gaming where I've played so many games that games like this just seem weak or if this is a genuine poor game by to standards, especially for a 360. The Story is decent, its just the execution of the animation that seems lacking - things seem to pop and click into place, especially on co-op mode if you look at your friends screen (You warp in and out of the van).

Shooting seems a bit... bulky, hard to explain, perhaps if I fiddled with the aim sensitivity I'd find a medium between smooth aiming and panic spray and pray.

How do I mod a PS2? I've heard of ways that don't require adding hardware/opening the PS2 case.

In news that's sure to make AndrewTS happy, Joystiq is reporting that Gamespot has fired Jeff Gerstmann, the chunky dude who has been their editorial director for many years. What's not so good is that it's being rumored that he was fired because he gave Kane & Lynch a bad review and Eidos was like FIRE THIS DUDE and Gamespot was like OH OK SURE! Gaming website internal politics. I love it.

Not that a review from a website or a magazine ever changed my opinion on trying a certain game or not, but that's sucks for the guy. If a company is bitching about a negative review, they have no one to blame but themselves. Although I didn't looked to see what the general consensus was for Kane & Lynch, if the game is bad, Eidos made it bad not the reviewer.

Even if that game was the greatest thing ever and that guy was the only one who gave it a negative score, no game company has the right to make him lose his job.

Not really. Didn't agree a lot of his points in the TP review (contradictions ahoy), but I didn't really follow his reviews, anyway. This was a dickless thing for CNET to do, though.

There are some utterly retarded Nintendo/Zelda fans who were crying for his head, though. Don't lump me in with them.
