Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 Well, yes, but they have an uncensored track as well. Why they would have a censored one, I don't know.

Ripper 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 Well, yes, but they have an uncensored track as well. Why they would have a censored one, I don't know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know....maybe its just me. But bleeps are funnier than curse words. I was watching Arrested Development and realized that if they were on cable and could actually say the curse words, it would be alot less funny. Same for family guy. That time Stewie said "I don't have to *BLEEP*ing impress you" and walked off, it was hilarious. Him saying fuck in the family guy movie...not so much. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 Another reason for censored version--so it can be shown on TV at some point down the line. Which will probably be on CN. A lot.

Him saying fuck in the family guy movie...not so much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Depending on the context, sometimes I agree with this. Like the Adam Sandler song (don't hang me because I own Sandler albums) "Piece of Shit Car". The gimmick of the song is that every other word is a curse, and the edit censors them with various car sound effects. It's funnier than the real version. DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 I found that Loonatics thing much funnier with everything bleeped. Anyway it sounds like the braodcast airing of the movie starts on Sunday so I'll check that out... Seth pointed out at quite a few points (ok... maybe like, two) during the commentary that they didn't think some of it would air (Ghandi is all I can think of at the top of my head).
