Uh, didn't Jay Z retire, or was he just trying to boost sales? The only good stuff I've heard from him lately has been samples or lines that other, better rappers used in their own songs.

Are you fucking kidding me.... Renegade was possibly the best track on the entire album. Two MC's at the top of their games, amazing beat, I have never heard one person say it was a bad song and some folks dont know why it wasnt a single.

While I don't think Renegade is THE best track on Blueprint, it's top 3 of a classic album. Renegade does not suck.

 

Em and Jay don't have a beef. Em hasn't said anything I've heard of and even Jay has hesitations about calling out Em. Don't know if Game squashed his beef with Jay recently, but I've heard a couple of freestyles by Jay dissing Game that haven't been released into mainstream. If Jay were to beef with 50, that would be money. He'd kill 50 in just about every way, but since 50 has the "it" boy aura right now, the feud would just be money in both men's pockets.

 

Dame Dash could be up for some fire from Jay and who knows if there is still a slight rift between Beanie and Jay since Beanie alleges Dame was one of the only guys there for him during his case. (Beanie was recently acquitted of charges) I still think Jay would kill Beanie in a battle.

 

Come to think of it, only Nas and Em can really deal with Jay in a battle as far as mainstream names in hip hop.

Jay-Z cut Royce Da 5'9" outta the original renegade song. I feel bad for Royce, but Jay-Z was better on it. If you didn't know, during eminem's verse at the very end where he says.."Here we go it's .. jigga jerr...noises..." He really says "..it's Royce he's the king of Detroit" Eminem's verses are exactly the same in original version.

Nas got Jay-z in that fued, white suburbanite fans look at sales would say Jay won, true hip hop heads go off skills say Nas won, which he did. Its not about who goes last because Jay-z went last with "Supa Ugly" and it was weak.

Now, to the current fueds. Game is taking the Nas route diss every member of the ROC until Jay-Z decides to join in, Game is just asking for it to me. Cam'ron has been wanting to get at Jay for the longest, because Jay Veto'd Cam from being VP of The ROC. With Cam being a ROC artist it was bad for business if he went at Jay at the time. Plus that would've cause the rift between Jay and Dame, because Cam only handled business with Dame not Jay.

I am sorry but you could hear "OOOOHHHHH" after every line in 2nd round knockout. He destroyed LL.

 

Then LL later said in another (even worse) canibus diss "Whats up with that kid Canibus, son played you out, why you didn't answer back correctly, what the fuck was that all about."

 

Even he knew he lost.

 

Of course I am biased. I still think that LL is the least talented rapper to get so many props. Most of his rhymes are Ying Yang twins level of simplicity.
