MikeJordan23 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 WWE has released the poster for the Survivor Series joint brand PPV coming on Sunday, November 27th. The poster depicts a silhouette of Undertaker in the background surrounded by a field of smoke. The caption at the title of the poster reads "The Beginning of the End." Pro Wrestling Dot com
hyperchord24 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Yep. Buried Alive Pt. 225 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Against who? His feud with orton is done and it takes a while to build up a buried alive match.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Yep. Buried Alive Pt. 225 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Against who? His feud with orton is done and it takes a while to build up a buried alive match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ha! You think it's over. It's never over...
TheFranchise Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Yep. Buried Alive Pt. 225 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice, the first thing I said when I saw this was 'Orton's getting buried' - only I didnt mean literally, but hey..
The Decemberists Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 That poster is soooooooooooooooo 1994....
2GOLD Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Since the company is slowly becoming soooo 1994, it works perfectly for them.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Since the company is slowly becoming soooo 1994, it works perfectly for them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1994 had Bret and Owen kicking ass all year, what does 2005 have? nothing.
eiker_ir Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 ha i also thought that it looked like a 94-95 poster...
The Kid Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 And here I thought the beginning of the end was when they botched the invasion.
Vampiro69 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Well, I had more respect for Orton after his wrestlemania loss then after his feud with the Taker recently. Orton is going to be in trouble in this fued cause his credibility against others is dropping like the temperature outside.
Si82 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Nice, the first thing I said when I saw this was 'Orton's getting buried' - only I didnt mean literally, but hey.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I thought too. Orton going over Taker at Summerslam should have been the end of it.
qdes Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 My god, I thought Undertaker died. Who would have guessed?
Frankie Williams Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Maybe WWE will use Marty Janetty again so the Undertaker can rise from the dead after half the Smackdown roster "kills him" again.
Guest rawmvp Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 You guys didn't know there was a buried alive match planned for Surv Ser? Speaking of Surv Ser, I was hoping they'd change the logo this year... In addition to the Buried Alive match, these are the other matches that are planned: Batista vs. Eddie Angle vs. Cena Piper vs. Bob Orton and JBL,Rey Mysterio, Mr Kennedy, Chris Benoit, Christian vs. HBK, Big Show, Carlito, Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 That poster is probably a fake. Where are the Smackdown! and Raw logos that are on EVERY WWE poster, and the "A production of..." labels? That poster is a Photoshopped piece of shit. ProWrestling.com ? Who? And the site where the image "came from" is probably creating it to just start a "NEWZ STORY" about how wwe.com released it early and then changed the storyline and put a new poster out b/c "their site found it". Look at this site, TheWrestlingVoice.com "TheWrestlingVoice.com has created the TWV Wrestling Hall Of Fame, one of the few and only Hall of Fames in wrestling to let you the fan vote on who is inducted!" Wow, I'm so lucky!
Guest rawmvp Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Sorry to break it to you, but the poster is real.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 So who cares anyway? PPV posters usually have nothing to do with the event.
Guest rawmvp Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 In this case it has a lot to do with the event since Taker is battling Orton in a Buried Alive match.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Maybe they don't think Taker will make his 20 year anniversary in the WWE and will settle for 15. Make it his "retirement year/tour".
Slickster Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 So who cares anyway? PPV posters usually have nothing to do with the event. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I find it funny that it's only unimportant because you were wrong. Just saying.
Lil' Bitch Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Well, its that time again for the Undertaker finally retires rumor to start.
Promoter Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Maybe RAW and Smackdown is the beginning of th end. You know like that Survivor Series stuff in 2001?
TheFranchise Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 That tag match looks sad. Michaels and Masters teaming up? JBL and anybody?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 I still doubt the validity of this poster. And if it is real, fine. But I'm not "wrong", I just expect better from a once billion dollar company. It's horrendous.
CBright7831 Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 The Undertaker is like The Joker. Both can survive anything --- whether it be surviving a firey helicopter crash or a burning casket.
BorneAgain Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 The Undertaker is like The Joker. Both can survive anything --- whether it be surviving a firey helicopter crash or a burning casket. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If that's the case I demand Daffeny be brought in as Harley Quinn.
daileyxplanet Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 It's the end of the Brand Extension. Just kidding.
