the max Posted November 25, 2005 Report Posted November 25, 2005 - 24: Season 4. This has already been preordered by the girlfriend, so it's a matter of waiting until xmas to act surprised. - A new fishtank. Our fishtank is getting old and dirty looking. My fishies look sad. - Tickets to the Bruins/Lightning or Bruins/Panthers games at the end of next month. That's all I really want. I'm really difficult or easy to shop for, depending on how you look at it. I never am good at making lists, but I'll like anything that I get that's normal.

kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 25, 2005 Report Posted November 25, 2005 I never ask for gifts, which pisses the better half off because she never knows what to get me. I'll end up with the latest Seinfeld DVDs, South Park season 6, and a few other movies/video games, and I'll be content...
Murmuring Beast Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 A singing voice. Hopefully Santa will deliver. Or Satan.

Fökai Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 I never ask for gifts either, so I'm satisfied with clothes or television season sets on DVD (it'd be cool to have Lost, 24, Jackass or Seinfeld this Christmas).
CanadianGuitarist Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 Excluding the Foreman grill I asked for last year(and even that was under extenuating circumstances), it'd been six years since I'd outright asked for anything. This year, I asked for the Bret Hart DVD, the books One Magical Sunday and What's My Name, Fool?

kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 For you people that want Sirus Radio, or some other subscription present, do you also expect to get 6 months-1 year of service paid for, too? Just curious...
Bruiser Chong Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 Most of the things I want are affordable enough for me to just pick up on my own. In recent years, my lists have become relatively thin. Just getting out of the whole "ooo I get lots of stuff" attitude that I used to have. Now, I just appreciate what I get and hope that I get the handful of things I really want. This year, my list consists mostly of film-related books. Outside of that, I asked for some cash to go buy clothes (since my mom has this thing about buying any shirt that has an odd material), a travel kit since I go out of town on the regular, the Complete Calvin & Hobbes, and some speakers for the computer. Toyed with asking for Tivo or XM radio, but those are perks I'll probably get on my own sometime this year.
the max Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 For you people that want Sirus Radio, or some other subscription present, do you also expect to get 6 months-1 year of service paid for, too? Just curious... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would imagine that they just want the radio, as that's expensive enough with some of them (specifically the one I want from XM that's like 200-250$). Activation and first month are all that is required when you first start it up. You can go into yearly/six month plans from there.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 All the stuff I find myself wanting is too expensive (mostly jackets and pants in the 200-300 dollar range) so I'll probably figure out some smaller little things that I could use and ask for those. I could also really use a new sleeping bag, but again the ones I'd want all run at over 300.
