BX 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 I think it'd be great if they the geekiest white guy to do Chef's voice. I'd volunteer. Wait....you're WHITE? No self-respecting black man would advocate "frying" Mumia Abu-Jamal without a new trial first.

Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 Makes me wonder if they were planning on doing a Scientology II episode and that's where Hayes decided to pack it in. The quote Stone throws down on Hayes having a different standard for his own religion is great.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 Makes me wonder if they were planning on doing a Scientology II episode and that's where Hayes decided to pack it in. The quote Stone throws down on Hayes having a different standard for his own religion is great. Trey and Matt explained it further, they really held off on doing the Scientology episode out of respect for Hayes FOREVER but then they just couldn't do it anymore. And Hayes got pissed off and wanted out.
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 I haven't watched this show in a couple of years. Is it still good. The eighth season (second last one) is their best one in my opinion.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted March 14, 2006 No biggie. Like people said, the Chef character has sparingly been used the last few years, and ran its course. I'd prefer if they changed the character to the stereotypical fat, nasty obese white woman in most school cafeterias.

Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 His last words to Matt and Trey: "This Whole Cracker-Ass Town can Kiss my Ass!" They should have Rudy Ray Moore be his replacement. That would be infinate amounts of awesome.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 What did they do when the actress who played every female character on the show killed herself? They originally retired most of her characters, but have slowly brought them all back in because they found a new woman (Eliza something) to do the voices. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2006 The cult probably threatened to excommunicate him or something if he stayed on the show. Even worse -- they'd charge him an extra 10k before going up to the next level, or whatever the hell they do at that place.

Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2006 They didn't fucking air it. I'm pissed off on all levels. ALL OF THEM. Well, Mr. Cruise apparently pouted and said he wouldn't do any pub for Mission Impossible 3 if they showed the episode again. Viacom (owners of Comedy Central and Paramount) caved. What a jackass. You're a follower in a cult and you act like an ADD kid on meth Tom. You should expect to be made fun of once in a while.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2006 I doubt the heterosexuality and/or sanity of any man who would willingly divorce both Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman. What I'm wondering: are Matt-n-Trey gonna take the classy route and just quietly drop Chef from the show, or will they take their vengeance with furious anger and much mocking of Mr. Hayes? chaosrage 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2006 Daily Variety got a statement from Trey and Matt today. A spokesman for Cruise denied that Cruise had ever made such a threat. "He never said any such thing about 'Mission: Impossible 3," the spokesman said. While the "South Park" creators didn't directly comment on Comedy Central's decision to pull the episode, they issued an unusual statement to Daily Variety indicating the battle is not over. "So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!" The duo signed the statement "Trey Parker and Matt Stone, servants of the dark lord Xenu." http://www2.variety.com/ref.asp?u=drud&p=l...id=VR1117939918

The fact that they actually released that as an OFFICIAL press release to the trade magazines is just awesome.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2006 So, Comedy Central would willingly pull an episode that is garnering all this attention just because they felt like it? No offense chaos, but I think Cruise is trying to cover his tracks. And yeah, divorcing Mimi and Nicole leads me to believe he is, in fact, buried in the closet and simply won't come out and admit it. I REEEEEEEEEEAAAALLY hope Parker and Stone let Hayes have it. Nothing personal, I just like it when they go after someone (see: Streisand, Barbara).
