MillenniumMan831 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 If the online version is $35 then maybe, if it's more than no way.
pochorenella Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I'll be watching it with my usual group of friends.
AntiLeaf33 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I was gonna go and pay to watch it in theatres, but I will probably go and save my money and watch it at the bar instead
Fuzzy Dunlop Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Yeah I'll be watching it live, from the arena that is.
mfn Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Still on the fence. Usually pitch in to buy it with some friends, but this year everyone seems apathetic towards the show. yeah, my friends and myself just go to hooters to watch the show.
SuperJerk Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 I'm tempted to buy it just so I can see it unfiltered by whoever doctors the DVD audio. Those crowd reactions are going to be interesting to say the least!
AndrewTS Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 No. Not there. Not ordering on PPV. Not for free. They'd have to pay me.
Gary Floyd Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 No. It's also the first time I'm skipping Wrestlemania.
Secret Agent Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 What, nobody is interested in seeing Rey win the belt?
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Download it Sunday night. Probably deleted by Monday.
2GOLD Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Try to download the Mickie/Trish match. The rest of the card can go straight to hell where it belongs.
cbacon Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 I think i'm 95% certain that I won't be chipping in to buy this now. I'd consider if a bar around here is showing it.
claydude14 Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Luckily my college has been showing the WWE ppv's on a big screen in our game room and lounge at the student union. I'll probably try and get a buzz on before hand and/or during though to make it watchable.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Mickie and Trish may have changed my mind tonight
Downhome Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 I actually ordered it a few days ago, and I feel dirty for doing so.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Watch it at Hooters. I didn't even bother with 21 because nothing on that card seemed worth a damn(though Orton/Taker was kinda neat despite Orton losing), but if Benoit/JBL and the SD main event deliver then I won't have any complaints.
Cheech Tremendous Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 I wouldn't watch this if it was 100% free and shown on network television when I had nothing else to do. I have no interest whatsoever in the card. In fact my interest starts and ends with this post.
haVoc Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 What, nobody is interested in seeing Rey win the belt? No, nobody is interested in seeing Triple H win the belt OR Cena retain it. There really isn't a postive out come either way.
Secret Agent Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Yeah, but the SD 3 Way headlines mania this year, doesn't it?
Guest JRE Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Yeah, but the SD 3 Way headlines mania this year, doesn't it? It's been the trend for the RR winner to main event for the last...6 years. But with HHH/Cena on the card we can't be sure.
CanadianGuitarist Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 As I just said to a buddy, Wrestlemania is like going to the peelers: It's more about the comradery then the show. The girls could be ugly, the time had will likely still be good.
2GOLD Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Yeah, but the SD 3 Way headlines mania this year, doesn't it? Except knowing everyone's luck, Cena would retain and Orton would win the title. Rey winning in the name of Eddie has been made hollow and makes me want to see him get his ass kicked with a combination Angle Slam/RKO through a table.
Dangerous A Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I'm chipping in with Ced, Darthtiki, and 2 PBP's to watch at NoCalMike's house. We're doing a smartmarks all day BBQ. And NoCal, just know we ARE dipping into your liquor cabinet for this event.
Darthtiki Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I'm chipping in with Ced, Darthtiki, and 2 PBP's to watch at NoCalMike's house. We're doing a smartmarks all day BBQ. And NoCal, just know we ARE dipping into your liquor cabinet for this event. I'll bring some extra beer in case
Guest J0bber Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I will be watching it from Section 214 at the Allstate Arena. Basically, bleacher seats across from the stage. Better than limited view seats, but still not the best. Probably not worth the 250 I paid for them, but what are you going to do if you're a huge wrestling fan and Wrestlemania comes to your town. I sure hope the Smackdown Triple Threat goes on last.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I plan on getting the DVD through Netflix
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I sure hope the Smackdown Triple Threat goes on last. Whichever match goes on last will see the babyface win. In the case of the SD match, Rey, in the case of the Raw match, Cena. Though, I have got a feeling they may go for the shock of having Cena turn heel to retain the belt, because if Cena retains then he won't get a babyface reaction, and they may feel like they've got to go with it and so turn him heel
NoCalMike Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I'm chipping in with Ced, Darthtiki, and 2 PBP's to watch at NoCalMike's house. We're doing a smartmarks all day BBQ. And NoCal, just know we ARE dipping into your liquor cabinet for this event. Fine with me. Just let me know the Saturday before the show so I know what liquor to get. I know it still looks like we have a ton, but a lot of those bottles are actually empty and we just haven't thrown them out. I know we still have a ton of tequilla and vodka, other then that I am not sure. Bring a bottle of something. Of Course if you are talking about beer, I usually have some in the fridge at all times. I believe I have a 12-pack of Hef in there right now waiting for WM.
NoCalMike Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 As far as the show goes. WM usually delivers on some level, even when the card isn't good on paper. And yes I am ordering it because as you can see from this thread, I am hosting a WM "party" Cena vs. Triple H has me pretty much interested in only the ending because I am interested to see how the crowd reacts to either a NON-over guy retaining the title, or some guy no one wants to be champ again, getting the belt. MITB - For the love of gawd, Don't let Ric Flair win this.
Art Sandusky Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 It's fuckin' Wrestlemania, guys. Bet your ass I'll be at the sports bar. It'll be fun one way or another.
