razazteca Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 So is the future Cartman suppose to reference Buck Rogers or Dr. Who?
cbacon Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 Only 2 episodes left. There better be a Christmas episode this year.
AndrewTS Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 The Battlefield Earth guns were a nice touch. United Atheist League, the United Atheist Alliance, and the United Atheist Allegiance...seems to be referencing Life of Brain.
Guest Princess Leena Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Another funny episode. I wish they left Mr. Garrison as the pissed off gay teacher instead of the solely gross-out character she is now.
foleyfanforever88 Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 When I'm waiting in line to get the Wii I might not be able to resist pacing back and forth going "come on....come on.....come on...."
Mik Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Science H. Logic, what a jerk! Great two part episode.
DMann2003 Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Man I loved the 'Buck Rogers' intro "And I will personally kill the time child, and eat his entrails on my tummy"
Guest Princess Leena Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I agree, great two-parter. Everything Cartman did was hilarious, and the science stuff was interesting and didn't drag like I thought it would. The last episode this season, Stan relives his peewee hockey days. I guess this will be a parody of The Mighty Ducks movie.
RepoMan Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 The 2nd part was great, but the 1st part was kind of slow. Still, way better than Cartoon Wars.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 "Stanley's Cup" is tonight, and is the last episode of the season, correct?
BorneAgain Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Randy Marsh and record scratching announcer are making this episode.
AmericanDragon Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Yeah I thought it was hilarious when they showed that it was Randy having the dream and not Stan. It's not like I didn't expect it either, it was just hilarious.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I am going to hell for laughing at the 3rd act. If I get a chance, I'm changing my hockey number next season.. I don't wanna be #13 again.
Gary Floyd Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Now that's some dark comedy. I loved it. "Coach, we have to win or else my dad will beat me again."
EricMM Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 The chick I was watching this with seemed about to cry but halfway with laughter. She thought the kindergardeners were so cute which is why she really wanted to see it... Yeah, when they started getting bladed and shit...
Mik Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Unreal. Another great episode and Randy Marsh is again the king of the world. No Christmas episode this year.
BlackFlagg Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 "Win or lose, those are your two options..."
Scroby Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 This had to be one of the most fucked up episodes of South Park I've ever seen.
Guest Princess Leena Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 That was pure EVIL. I loved it.
Art Sandusky Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 That episode made me feel uneasy. Any laughs related to the poor dying kid were of the automatic shock reflex variety. Everything else was hilarious.
Failed Bridge Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I must be in the minority here but I thought the episode last night was pretty shitty. The record guy got tedious and it just didn't have many moments to it. It needed Butters.
razazteca Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 The episode needed a 80's music montage and Batdad.
Guest Princess Leena Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Yeah, the Rob Schneider record guy was used way too much. The last 2 minutes made up for it, though. It would have been better with Butters saying "Oh, hamburgers!" when the little kids were getting killed.
Dobbs 3K Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I thought last night was a little bit "eh". I did laugh when the Red Wings were beating the crap out of kids, and the movie announcer guy was funny, but everything else seemed kind of forced. The other thing that annoyed me was that this was basically the same plot as the skiing episode where Stan had to race downhill a few seasons ago.
AboveAverage484 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I thought it was one of those offbeat episodes that didn't have a message; it was just them saying fuck you to everybody and trying to be offensive and heartless. It worked, I loved it!
EricMM Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 I think they even got the same kid to play the sick kid as they had in Baseketball. Trey Parker is hilarious again, as just about everyone on the show...
Jericholic82 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I thought it was one of those offbeat episodes that didn't have a message; it was just them saying fuck you to everybody and trying to be offensive and heartless. It worked, I loved it! agreed. The kids getting destoryed was a great f'd up moment in the vein of the xmas blood orgy from 04 and the fact that the red wings were celebrating like in the "underdog" movies with the guy and his son hugging. Plus they seemed to be spoofing the might ducks movies cuz some of the characters resembled them. Randy Marsh is indeed god. I mean one minute he can be very quiet and smart then all of a sudden hes crazy
