What DVDs would you like to see the WWE release?

Recommended Posts

Best of the Intercontinental Title would be cool. I know they had a Coliseum tape like that back in the day, and there's a really crappy short DVD with a similar name (that has like 4 or 5 Shawn Michaels TV/Coliseum matches from '93) but I think a comprehensive look at the history of the IC Title would be cool. Doesn't have to be only Title changes, although a lot of ones on my list are.

I put a * next to widely available matches- they wouldn't have to be included since they're easily found elsewhere, although they are great IC Title matches:

Tito vs. Savage

Savage vs. Steamboat*

Steamboat vs. Honky

Warrior vs. Honky

Warrior vs. Rude (Slam 89)

Tito vs. Perfect

Perfect vs. Bret*

Bret vs. Piper*

Bret vs. Bulldog*

Bulldog vs. Shawn

Shawn vs. Marty

Razor vs. Martel

Razor vs. Shawn*

Razor vs. Diesel

Razor vs. Jarrett

Shawn vs. Jarrett

Razor vs. Goldust

Rock vs. HHH

Owen vs. Rock

Austin vs. Owen

Jarrett vs. Edge

Jericho vs. Angle

Jericho vs. Benoit

Jericho vs. Regal

Jeff Hardy vs. HHH

Edge vs. Christian

etc.

And lots I haven't mentioned.... I'm just saying... there's lots of cool IC Title matches to choose from.

Season sets for WCW from 96' to '01 of Nitros, Thunders and the PPVS. Would take a ton of discs and be way pricey but I would buy them all. Could do them for Raw as well.

I would buy the WCW sets if they had voiceover commentary by Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff, with McMahon calling everything stupid and illogical and forcing Bischoff to agree with him.

A Complete Starrcade Collection (1983 - 2000) with the full shows, including Entrances, Introductions and Promos. Including Extra Commentary and Bonus Interviews and Matches.

A Complete WCW Great American Bash collection (1985, 1987-1992, 1995-2000 should be easy with each having a defining show that stood out, 1986 would have to be a "Best of" because the tour was so fucking hot.) with the Best Tour Matches outside the Main Shows (War Games II) as Extras.

Raising The Roof: The Best of Harlem Heat

A "Best Of" Clash of the Champions Set

Currently a poll up for Best of the WWE Championship.

Here is the link where you can vote which matches they'll include on the DVD set for a September release. They give a list of matches for each decade from the 70s to the 2000s and you have to pick 5 from each decade. Pretty cool, IMO.

I was excited, so I went to vote and all the choices left me pretty unenthused. I mean, aside from the 70s, most of the interesting ones are already on DVD.

This came into the Wal*Mar I work at. $6.88

Crappy? NEVER! It features Skinner! SKINNER! I marked like there was no tomorrow...almost as much as I did ove the detail that guy went into over the Blackman DVD...

Bret Hart vs Skinner

Two, yes two, HBK vs Janetty

HBK vs Duggan.

I believe the fifth is HBK/Perfect.

You know, thinking back to my post earlier...

Does anyone know if a "Best of the Big Show" 2 disk set could be made?

Load the first disc with the standard documentary, the neck injury from Nash, have him talk about the struggles of his size and his weight issues and the whole contract stuff with WCW/WWE in 1998, going back to OVW and throw in some random stories, which TBS can easily fill up time there.

Throw in various comedy skits, The entire bossman angle...

Disc Two

Matches

-Halloween Havoc (Hulk Hogan)

-Giant Vs Ric Flair (1st title win)

-TBS/Taker Vs Kane/XPac (Slam 1999)

-Survivor Series 1999 (title win)

-Armageddon 1999 (Bossman)

-TBS Vs Kurt Angle (Backlash 2000)

-TBS/Brock Lesnar (Survivor Series 2002)

-TBS/Brock Lesnar (Judgment Day 2003)

-TBS/Brock Lesnar (Smackdown 2003-Ring collapse match)

-Chris Benoit and Cena Vs TBS/Lesnar (Smackdown 2003)

-TBS/Angle (No Mercy 2004)

-TBS/JBL (NWO 2005)

-TBS/Kane Vs Cade and Murdoch (Taboo Tuesday 2005)

-TBS Vs HBK (Raw 2005)

-TBS/Kane Vs Masters and Carlito (WM22-Only WM win)
