Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 Doesn't scream out "I'M A WRESTLING FAN!" (unless someone knows who Booker T is), isn't over the top, plus I don't see the WWE logo (although I'm sure it will be on the actual shirt). What say ye?
Guest Coffey Report post Posted June 1, 2006 It's decent...but it'd be SO much better if it was just the Booker logo on the front and that was it.
PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 Agreed, as with all WWE shirts, NO NEED FOR THE BACK PRINT

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted June 1, 2006 Close, but any wrestler's name on the shirt automatically kills it for public viewing.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 Yeah, I'd lose the "Booker T" on the front, but the catchphrase on the back doesn't bother me.
Guest droptoehold Report post Posted June 1, 2006 damn...i might buy it
LJSexay 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 agreed on the notion to remove the front text. It would be completely wearable, and even kinda cool, if it didn't have BOOKER T on the front.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 But, most people might think you're just a fan of Booker T Washington. Who was famous for his use of the word sucka. Plus, I heard he was an OG, a straight thug.
mfn 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 I still wear my DX shirt. Does that make me a loser?
Just John 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2006 Wouldn't removing Booker T from the front defeat the purpose of it being a WRESTLING shirt? I don't know why WWE would try to appeal to closet fans.

Hogan got royalties from NWO shirts. His name was nowhere to be found...that was WCW though. Yet it could be argued that Hogan was the nWo so he would still get royalties. He was the face of the nWo... shoe polish beard and all. The Chain Gang thing could be because it's directly linked to that wrestlers persona, ala Hulkamaniacs, or whatever. Back onto the shirt itself. I'd buy it.

Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 There have been some really bad shirts in the past, but having a name on it doesn't make it a bad shirt. If you're that embarassed to be a wrestling fan in public, that's your problem, but a name won't make me not wear a shirt. It's more I can't buy them in a store(unless someone knows of a real store that sells WWE or TNA shirts)
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted June 2, 2006 A perfectly acceptable shirt. The front design wise is better without the name, but the name doesn't affect it's public wearability. The back graphic is a phrase that's not linked solely to pro wrestling, so no foul. If it came in brown, the public would be more likely to see it as a "blaxsploitation" style shirt. The Buzz 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 Hmm..I don't own any wrestling shirts, but a shirt is a shirt. Who give a fuck if someone likes you wearing it or not. Why be ashamed of being a wrestling fan if you enjoy it? I just don't get it.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 That looks more like something Booker would wear during a face run than a heel run. I'm not sure why. Doesn't seem like the shirt one of the top heels on your roster would wear. That DiBiase shirt is fantastic.
