naiwf Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 That cup of soda hitting Heyman on the ear was better than anything else on this show. How fucking lame.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 TBS is like the master of waiting for someone to fuck up and getting a title reign. TBS and Edge. In case of championship emergency, break glass and hand over applicable belt.
CanadianChick Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 TBS is like the master of waiting for someone to fuck up and getting a title reign. It seems the guy who got the WWE title from RVD is going to be that type of guy too.
Hawk 34 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 "We got a riot situation!" No, Tazz. It's a garbage being thrown into the ring.
randomguy Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 From a booking perspective it does protect RVD very well. Still when the ref takes the best bump of the night BY FAR you have a problem. That match was awful.
The Robfather Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Paul Heyman didn't screw RVD. RVD screwed RVD!
MillenniumMan831 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I bet even Devito hurled his coke at that.
packwingfn Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I'll see you ECW in 30 days when RVD & Sabu return.
Astro101 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 At least something good's coming on next. Woot! Twilight marathon continues.
Fro Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I actually thought that ending was moderately creative, and made lemonade out of lemons. This show is still a goner though.
humongous2002 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I'll see you ECW in 30 days when RVD & Sabu return. Same here.
Guest Skironox Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 At the very least hopefully the cross brand bullshit is over with now. Can't say I'm pleased about the way it went on but oh well.
Guest TheJuice31 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Yeah, how creative, fresh, and original. I've NEVER seen Paul Heyman EVER turn on someone and align with the Big Show.
Golgo 13 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 This really wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't Big Show. Regardless, Heyman as a WWE Sellout isn't a bad angle should they run with it.
MixxMaster Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I'll see you ECW in 30 days when RVD & Sabu return. ditto...IF the show is still on, that is.
The Amazing Rando Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Yeah, how creative, fresh, and original. I've NEVER seen Paul Heyman EVER turn on someone and align with the Big Show. and, like i said earlier, it's the second time he's done it when his original "guy" had the win.
Hawk 34 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Angle is gone. RVD is taking a "vacation" and Sabu is probably on the outs. Exactly what are they left with? TEST Vs TBS? That'd go over big time.
Guest Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I'll see ECW when I watch an old tape, because this sure as hell isn't it. This is sad, or rather the fact that people actually thought this would work. They'll be taking this off the Sci-Fi program guide within the next two months.
tominator89 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Well that was a fun combination of Hogan's nWo heel turn and Vince screwing Bret.
Blue Bacchus Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 I guess I'm the only one who enjoyed the show then.
Angle-plex Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Wait.....they're doing an angle where the owner of the company is going to be a BAD guy?
2GOLD Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 It could have been worse. They could have had the Vampire win the title. Or Mike Knox. Or John Cena. See? Lots of ways it could have been worse.

This is sad, or rather the fact that people actually thought this would work. They'll be taking this off the Sci-Fi program guide within the next two months. As bad as the show is, it's still going to get 1.7 to 2.3 ratings and that's good enough for Sci-Fi.
The Amazing Rando Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 It could have been worse. They could have had the Vampire win the title. Or Mike Knox. Or John Cena. See? Lots of ways it could have been worse. or Test.
Guest Princess Leena Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Please have Test be the last ECW Champion. It could happen.
Guest The Great Muta Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Consider the end of that show symbolic of the end of the ridiculous ECW experiment. I am now officially done with WWE completely. Vince, shame on you for turning wrestling into a dirty word and shame on you for digging up a corpse (ECW) and pissing on it. Vince, you can go to hell...
MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 It could have been worse. They could have had the Vampire win the title. Or Mike Knox. Or John Cena. See? Lots of ways it could have been worse. It coulda been Test.. Of course it could have been Kurt Angle. I cant wait for a Big Show/Tommy Dreamer Title fued. That should be mildly amusing.
Adam Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Wow. Vince is really going out of his way to make me want to quit wrestling completely, isn't he.

Note that I don't want to leave this alone because I know something will come of it, but I will respond to what you or others say when I get home.
