Kizzo Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 How ironic you got two WCW alumni fighting for the former WCW World Title at a former WCW PPV, not to mention you also got the US Title and the Cruiserweight Title on the line. might as well call this PPV WCW One Night Stand. Also one of the writers of Smackdown is a former wCw booker......Dusty Rhodes

Hey, if Booker wins, do you think he'll call himself a SIX time WCW Champion considering they're using the SAME title? Be dumb I think if they're going to call himself a 5 time WCW and a 1 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, which I think they're going to do.

strummer Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 Meltzer: ECW's house shows scheduled for Saturday night in Saginaw and Sunday in Muskegon, MI were postponed this morning at the last minute. Talent was told the shows were canceled. The Saginaw show will be on 11/5 so I'll presume Muskegon will also run that weekend. TV is Tuesday in Detroit. On the surface, doesnt' sound like a good sign.
haVoc Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 Anyone else notice a lot of Shawn Michaels hair has "grown" back in the last few months?
Atticus Chaos Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 Former Diva's WWE run comes to an end... The following was posted by Stacy Keibler today on StacyKeiblerOnline.net. "Well, my contract with WWE has come to an end. So, you know what they say about when one door closes, another one opens. After many months of meetings with several networks and studios, I have accepted a development deal with Touchtone TV. Under this ABC sister studio, I will either star in a pilot or join an existing Touchstone TV series. I will keep you guys posted. Hopefully, you will be seeing me on television again real soon!"
haVoc Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 She'll probably "join" an existing series as an extra. If she's lucky she'll last a few episodes. Also, here's a some pictures of wrestlers when they were young.
Atticus Chaos Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 I don't think she has the acting talent to have a show based around her so I think she would have to take a supporting role in something. Current touchstone shows are lost, desperate housewives and scrubs...Maybe Stacy can be an Other...
Atticus Chaos Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Mike Johnson reports that Tough Enough 4 competitor and current WWE developmenatal wrestler Ryan Reeves has been suspended for 30 days for failing a drug test. credit: Gerweck.net
Cheech Tremendous Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Also, here's a some pictures of wrestlers when they were young. Wow, some of those are awesome. Young Randy Savage and Bill Goldberg with the Hitler stash may be my favorites.
Lil' Bitch Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 I always got a kick out of Scott Hall with a mustache. It makes him look like a straight up porn star. The yearbook pictures are always a big WOW factor to me. That Flair / Rock picture is awesome. I didn't know Road Dogg and Vince McMahon joined the Armed Forces and / or were in ROTC. I always did wonder if Steve Austin could have pulled off the Stone Cold run if he kept his "Stunning" look.
Maztinho Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 I always did wonder if Steve Austin could have pulled off the Stone Cold run if he kept his "Stunning" look. Not likely, but I think he could have pulled it off with the crewcut he sported in ECW.
razazteca Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Anyone else notice a lot of Shawn Michaels hair has "grown" back in the last few months? But late in the match after sweating and bleeding you can see that he is sporting the Michael Bolton mullet. Hairspray can only hide so much.
Atticus Chaos Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 from WO A creative decision was made today to have ECW stars involved in Sunday's Great American Bash PPV from Indianapolis. While they could have done the Saturday night house show and had no problems with it, the decision was made there was no point bringing an entire crew out for Saturday night, keeping them on the road Sunday (since only a few guys from ECW will appear at the Bash) and Monday without work, before the Tuesday TV
Hawk 34 Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Trish or Stacy? Which will get more work or more success outside WWE? Unlike Chyna and Sable, these two appear to be intelligent and business orientated and possess skills beyond being a freak of nature or a silicone advertisement. Stacy, already has the foot in the door thanks to the popularity of DWTS2 and she has already gotten work. Trish, I believe was a better actress with the shitty WWE script. I do think Stacy will do fine but Trish has a better chance of longer term success.

Young Randy Savage and Bill Goldberg with the Hitler stash may be my favorites. Alot of those are creepy...like the second Taker pic (looks like he's wearing a b-ball jersey), sitcom extra RVD, Rowdy Roddy J. Fox, and pedophile rapist Randy Savage.

I can reallyonly see her getting bimbo roles and whatnot.

Not that many hollywood chicks look athletic like Trish, they are usually sticks like Stacy. Stacy won America over via her legs, smile and personality.
Danville_Wrestling Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 I forgot to mention this last week but I thought the plugging of the "inaurgural" edition of WWE Magazine was hilarious considering that the magazine has been around forever until they did the ridiculous Smackdown! Magazine and RAW Magazine split. I guess it didn't generate effective revenues so they are going back to one magazine, eh? I remember I was pissed when they told me my subscription for WWE Magazine would be changed years ago to Smackdown! Magazine so I cancelled it and haven't bought a WWE mag since. Then again, those magazines went downhill after Vince Russo left the staff so I didn't shed many tears over it. Just thought it was funny that my prediction that they would lose money on the split magazine endeavor was justified.

There is a huge WOW factor there... he has done a lot of damage to his body since high school
Guest DRH 502 Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Yeah that happens with pro wrestlers alot for some reason or another...
Vyce Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Also, here's a some pictures of wrestlers when they were young. The pic of Owen & Bret together (when they were much younger) is just really sad.
claydude14 Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 I don't know if anyone's suggested it yet, but why not have the Bashams as Heyman's personal secuirty in ECW? They're working house shows and in this roll they don't really need to wrestle on TV but will mean more when they appear on house shows against the F.B.I as I believe they are currently doing, because they will get exposure each week. Their old Cabinet gear was pretty close to Heyman's security in the all black scheme, it'd be real easy to see them in the roll. Probably too obvious an idea to pull off, using talent to further sell house shows instead of using stand in guys with ridiculous face covering helmets.

Just thought it was funny that my prediction that they would lose money on the split magazine endeavor was justified. Well, I think the concept is that it really is basically a whole new magazine. From the commercials, it looks like WWE is trying to copy Maxim, by making it a general interest magazine with an overall WWE theme, aimed at males 18-34ish.
Hawk 34 Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 I still don't get why CM Punk isn't on ECW's roster and CW Anderson is.
DrVenkman PhD Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 I still don't get why CM Punk isn't on ECW's roster and CW Anderson is. Huh? Edit: I assume you mean the webpage. CM Punk has no (WWE acceptable) bio to write up other than appearing in vignettes.
haVoc Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 The Raw preview says Hulk Hogan is going to be on Raw this week.
Taker666 Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 The Raw preview says Hulk Hogan is going to be on Raw this week. Wh..WHAT!?! Hogan Back on RAW!!. How Shocking! I HAVE to tune into Raw now to see the anticipate return of Hulk Hogan!! and..and the possiblity of his talented Daughter being their aswell!?!. wow, this is so mind boggling!! WWE RULZZ!!! Chant with me now!. DUB DUB E!, DUB DUB E!, DUB DUB E!,
Timmy8271 Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 I hope when Hogan is on raw, Orton doesn't show up. He show's up at Hogan's house and RKO's Nick while Brooke looks on in horror. Then Orton is shown on camera with that smirk he does. I don't know if anyone's suggested it yet, but why not have the Bashams as Heyman's personal secuirty in ECW? They could be. We still haven't seen the security guards faces.
