nbc.com/TheOffice still has it, though it's broken into parts and you have to wait through some commercials.

Thankfully, my faith in awards shows is slightly restored as the cast of The Office just won at the SAG Awards for best ensemble in a comedy series.

 

Steve also won with the cast of Little Miss Sunshine for best film ensemble.

In officeland…our newest scripts are SO GOOD that I actually yelped during our latest script reading. When I heard the plot of our next script I gasped! I wish I could say more. I think you will be very pleased. There are lots of cringy, wonderful, funny moments. And some very touching ones as well.

 

This week we are shooting with hot shot director Joss Whedon! This has been especially exciting for me because I already knew Joss. (He has known my husband for a long time.) Joss has quickly become one of our favorite directors. The crew loves him. He's a huge fan of the show and therefore gets really into every detail of the show. He watches us even when we are in the background of a scene and compliments our smallest of choices. It's been a total dream. I'm currently the background of a scene and I can see him hunched over the monitors watching a scene and giggling like a little girl. I'm going to miss him.

As a huge fan of the UK Office and after watching the first episode which was basically was nearly exactly the same as the UK one I was not holding out much hope for the American one being any good.

 

However I have got to say I really love it now. I watched a few season 2 eppys when they were up on youtube (I need to get the season 2 DVD) and have watched every eppy so far this season. They have especially captured well the Jim/Pam stuff and Steve Carell has grown on me a lot. The US Office have also used to backround characters very well which has added an extra element to the show.

 

What is everyones fav episode so far this season? Aside from the obvious ones like A Benihana Christmas and The Return, I really liked "The Convention", it didnt get much love on most of the forums at the time of airing but their are just so great moments. Subtle humor, laugh out load moments, and a few emotional ones aswell. If you get a chance I would say re watch it.

I think Helms will be a case like Melora Hardin or David Denman, where when he's in an episode he's listed as a star but not otherwise. They pretty much pushed his annoyance to the edge last episode, so I'm sure we're at least getting a break from him for awhile, even if it's not "5-10 weeks."

I'm on the fence on this one because I felt the Pam/Jim/Karen thing fucked up the flow of what was otherwise a competent episode. Pam's sleep speech was weird and the Pam/Karen confrontation seemed forced. So, Jim tells Karen he still has feelings for Pam and they just.....work it out? Just like that?
